They  must have moved to Australia and I am now  getting these calls  but  they are using a number that is blocked. They left a message to say Its The Pro Group and this message is  for ******** please call The Pro Group urgent. After reading this site they can forget it.

i got a call to my mobile from a so called pro group asking for my husband and they would say what company they are or any details.i recon there a debt collectoer bloodly dicks huh

This company PGHS has phoned me repeatedly even after I asked them to take me off their
call list as i don't have a furnace or a fireplace.  She responded your phone number is
published with telus, there fore they still have the right to call you.  I just let the phone ring
this time, and went online to google them.

NOTE  There is a toll free number  1-888-382-1222 which you can call to be put on
a no call list for telemarketers.  after 31 days when you registered, you can report
the caller to the caller to the same number,  this is run by a federal agency.

This company has been phoning us for almost 4 yrs  repeatedly!! A few months ago I finally told them to please stop calling. They phoned last week and again today. When I told her this is harassment she argued with me and insisted I had asked for them to call me back. NOT! This girl was so rude , she even called back just to hang up on me. They use different numbers to harass people 778 565 1036 and 778 565 1392 the name PGHS comes up on the phone. Dont pick up your phone when they call. They have over 20 complaints lodged against them  by BBB.

I've worked a few shifts with this outfit and they seem on the level.  We're just trying to make a living folks, terribly sorry if we take up a minute of your time.  This isn't a scam.

This company calls repeatedly for fireplace service and will not take no for an answer.  This company uses several telephone #'s,   They will not take you off the telephone list.

Got this call about 5pm on Monday June 6.  This guy told me that he needed to schedule an appointment with me to assess our home appliances since it's overdue.  I wondered if this call was a scam since I didn't purchase any extra warranty on our appliances (and our appliances are all over 6 years old).  I asked him for a number to call back since I was too busy to speak with him further, but he couldn't answer me, then told me there was no number he could give me.

The BBB has received 27 complaints about this company in the last 36 months!

I've received several calls from PGHS. Some of the calls came from different numbers. For example. 778-565-1042, 778-565-1392, 778-565-1410 and 778-565-1306. When I was around to answer the phone (778-565-1410) they told me they were from Pro Group Home Service. I told them to take my number off their dialing list now! We'll see what happens.

Just got a call from these crooks. The so called Pro group wanting to perform fireplace maintenance in our unit. The funny thing is we just had our regular fireplace guy through this morning.

I received a call from 778-565-1042 caller ID as "PGHS", went to my voicemail.  The voicemessage consisted of some guy giving a gutteral scream.  Weird eh?

Got 3 calls at least in this month from this number, strange!

pghs is a known scam...just ignore them

This company is not a Scam.The BBB reports only what people say; not based on factual evidence.

I just spoke with an elderly woman in my building and she got caught by someone saying they were from Eatons Fireplace Service and were doing business in and the building so she fell for it even though she should have known that we get our fireplaces done every two years by a reliable company and it comes out of our maintenance fund.  Thanks God others in the building that were called told hem no as it ended up costing her over $800.00 by the time he was done because he told her that things needed replacing that most likely didn't.  

There are enough good companies around, never get caught by a phone solicitor.  Make sure that you tell them to take you of their list and tell them that they will be reported to the BBB and the police.

Complete scam, they prey on the elderly.

The person at this number hung up when I answered when the phone rang.  Seeing that I have had trouble in the past with crank calls, I went into this site and saw that many people have had calls from PGHS.  Now, if they call back and there is someone there, I will ask to speak to the manager and give him a tirade instead of him doing that to me.

You can add 778-565-4499 to the list of phone numbers from these guys.
They just called with the old "Im in the area" etc

I took down the name etc and said I might call them later then I checked right away on Google and found this thread.

Pretended to be in the condo building on next floor, working their way up.  They wanted to service our fireplace and stove.  Turned out to be a total lie, there were not even in the building.  Watch-out for these GUYS.

I have had 17 calls today I feel its time to visit their office with bad intentions ,the call hang up or swear or they threaten me !!! these people need a 9 mil pill .

Just received a call from "Travis" from PGHS. I shouldn't have answered. He made it seem like my husband was expecting his call. I wish I had seen this post before I took the call. Anyway, he wanted to set up appointment times for fireplace maintenance. Already informed my husband to ignore his message.

This company is pretending they work with Teresan. I'm a building manager in North Van. They are aggresive and very dodgy.

this number showed up on our call display.- no message left.....I.phoned and got a gal that said PGHS (gas furnace fireplace cleaner etc) Google this number and other people report that BBB says to avoid (scam company)

I missed the call but phoned back to see who it was.  Nobody answered.  I then looked the number up here and found other people looking for the same person.

Oh great, they just moved into my building complex.  Now my customers or whoever comes in that door is going to think we are a scam too!

I am sad to say i am a former employee of these guys. its a total scam. i worked there for 3 days, they let me go without grounds for termination. then refused to pay me. do not answer their calls or trust them. especially the manager, hes an a**

PGHS- progas is who has been calling. They have called before and they are a scam offering fireplace cleaning services. 1 google to the BBB will tell you this. In fact, during one of their phone calls that I actually answered, I told them that I was not interested and why (BBB reports) and the girl put me through to the office manger, who proceeded to give me the "what for" and pretty much tell me off, saying I am wrong to believe the BBB and that I should not trust them! I told him that if they are a good company and that if the BBB has it wrong he should follow up with them and straighten it out- NOT with me! He honestly went on for about 5 solid minutes! it was ridiculous!
Anyhow, I wouldn't trust them and would avoid answering their phone calls!
