C'est étrange que les services publics, comme Bell Canada, font rien contre ces bandits. Ils doivent avoir une ristourne pour laisser ces bandits utiliser leur ligne. Sinon, ce serait très facile de les bloquer. Pour que les fraudeurs fraudent, ça prend des complices corrompus comme Bell Canada.

I'm at 613 area and got a call from 778-654-3236 @ 5:46pm. The &%&ing scam company also use the other number 778-654-3241. I'm gonna programme all 778-654-#### to my junk blocker software >:/

Keeps sending cell phone txt to my home land phone number in the middle of the night multiple times, called the number back to see if someone would pick up and it was an answering machine with someone with the name Theresa. Told her answering machine a few choice colorful words and it stopped so far.

Please stop calling!!!!

Just another spam call, saying I won a free cruise.. I'm getting real tired of this...

* am this morning received a call from this number.  Guess what, I did not get a free cruise.  The guy said he was calling from Microsoft & we had a virus on our computer.  Told him we do not have a computer & told him where to go.  Our household gets countless calls weekly trying to scm a family member with one thing or another.  DON'T BOTHER WITH THE DO NOT CALL LIST AS I HAD REGISTERED YEARS AGO & APPARENTLY THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST WAS SOLD OUT.  Blame Bell Canada for the countless  constant calls as they were the ones originally looking after the National "Do Not Call" until they sold the list with all our telephone numbers on it!

I received a call from 778-654-3236 on Wednesday 07 May 14 at 4:10PM. Robo call female voice "I won a free cruise to the Bahamas". Scam - don't fall for it.

I've gotten a call from this number a few times now, but there's never anyone on the line when I answer.  I'll say hello a few times, then the call gets disconnected.  It shows up as being from British Columbia.

Ive been called from this number before, only on my cell. My partner has been called by this number as well. We live in different cities. Both our phones say this number is calling from British Columbia. Neither of us know anyone from BC. No voicemail was left on our phones either.

We shouldn't have to complain every day about these stupid calls! I'm already on the do not call list I swear to God that I get more BS calls since I put my name on it. The CRTC and the local police won't do anything at all they call it a civiil matter and unless they've extorted money just ignore the calls because they won't do anything unless it's a fraud case.

I keep blocking different numbers from these same scammers (on my cell) but they just keep calling from new ones. They have started calling my husbands cell also. We do not give our numbers out for anything, only to family, so I am not sure where they got them. They seem to always call from a 778 area code.
I really wish there was some way for the law to get them to stop.
It is extremely annoying to have my EMERGENCY ONLY cell phone ring, and have me thinking an emergency happened with one of my kids, and drop everything to rush to my purse and frantically dig out the phone - only to have it be these idiots.
Please get them to stop...

How do we put an end to these indiscriminate abuses of our privacy.  I get at least 10-15 telemarketing calls per say some of the # is 778 654 3236 and 647 430 4937  from different phone numbers.
I like to find a way to get to the source, who is giving our numbers out like this.

Just got 2 calls from this number while I was sleeping. Around 930am. First time this has happened.

In addition to call blockers as mentioned above, you can very easily save the number in your cell and set it to go straight to voicemail.  Save it as "Ignore" or "telemarketer" or whatever you want to call it.  Change the settings in your phone so that you don't even have to hear it ring.  You can save several numbers to that name (cell, work, work fax, home, etc).  If you use them all, save a 2nd name and keep adding to it.

Illegal robo-callers are not going to abide by the DNC registry.  Everyone keeps blaming the DNC for not working, but when you are dealing with illegal scam companies, they don't care that you're on DNC.

This number keeps calling my cell phone.  From what I read on the internet it is a telemarketer.  Never leaves a message.  I am on the 'do not call' registry.  There must be a way to stop them!!!!   I will, of course, NEVER answer this number - or any number I do not recognize.

This number has been calling me almost once a day. I called back and a recording says it is telemarketing/survey.
I would like them to stop calling me as they are f****ng annoying. And this is a gross invasion of my privacy.

Can't blame it all on app downloads. I was receiving these scam calls before i got a smart phone. The DNC list does help, but these scammers register and cancel numbers so frequently that they can skirt the update requirements of the DNC registry.

It might be interesting to know that the culprits use robodialers - robotic devices that continuously dial numbers at random. So perhaps the DNC list does work as it is intended, but the bad guys always find a way. They also use number spoofing, so they can alter the number they are calling from and replace the number on your call display with virtually any number. This information is listed on the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre's website.
I have received this type of call at all of my contact numbers, private and public, cell phone, at work, you name it. If you dial a bunch of numbers continuously, you're eventually going to get through on some of them.
