Received text from nottice@vtext.com -- all it said was, "Call (778)776-www1"  I did not call it, especially since notice was spelled wrong in the sender address.

Stated to call them regarding Huntington Bank in Indianapolis.  I searched the number and found out from several comments that this was a scam.

I got a text that says Alert-contact 778-776-9991 Account Issue.  I googled the number and it led me to this site.  I think it's some kind of scam.

I also received this message, called the number and got a recording of a pleasant sounding woman asking me to enter my debit card #. I hung up and called my bank to find out everything was fine and it was probably a scam. Does anyone know of a public authority pursuing/tracking these scammers? Or do the authorities only get involved AFTER the fact?!

Got a text from this number saying to Contact  778-776-9991 [AchieveCardIssue].  Never heard of Achieve Card!  Blocking!

The number above is a hypertext, so it's easy to press and dial the number. The call is answered by a recording saying my credit card needs verification or will loose it's debit capability--and starts with the number 5388 (or something like that).
I don't have any cards with that number. The company is never mentioned.

Received the same text only this one stated (ALERT) Call - "Beneficial Bank Issue".   I am not affiliated with that bank.  SCAM

I received a text from this number indicating a call back for an account i do not have open with them.

Just received a test message to call this number or 760-888-0229 stating Beneficial Bank issue. I don't deal with this bank so I won't be calling.

Got a text message from this number. It also referred to to 760-888-0229 via text message that there is a "BeneficialBankIssue".   SCAMMERS  ! Did a reverse lookup and found that FTC complaints filed against them and being sued. BEWARE !

My husband, daughter & I are all getting text messages from 330859@vtext.com (Contact)760-888-0229 or 778-776-9991 SouthernBank issue.  It is definitely a scam because we do not have a bank account.

Received a text message from 40490@VTEXT.COM to call (778) 776-9991...."an account issue".  This has to be a scam.  I did not return the call

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto.     received two calls today:   "49080@vtext.com   {Alert}  Contact:  (778)7769991   AccountIssue"   and   "202055@vext.com  [[SouthernCommerce]] Call: 5622040824 or 7787769991"      Called verizon to verify if it was a subscription number and it is not.   just spamwich.  hope this does not continue daily.   sheeeeesh!     Delete, Delete, Delete.

I got the same text, saying account issue.  glad I googled it.  Not gonna call back.  

got this random text from them just now. I called back cause I was freaking out from the text saying "account issue". The line was busy, looked it up on here and it says all of this. >:| Well thank goodness for reviews on numbers lol. I thought it was a scam anyways. They wanted you to enter all of your bank info btw saying that they were going to suspend my debit card if I didn't address the issue, when I don't even have one by them.SCAM.

Got a text from this number saying thier is an issue with my account. It looked wierd so I googled it. Its a scam don't call them they want ur personal information.

Got a text telling me to call this number.  There was no message, but it was signed [Southern Commerce], which I guess is a bank in Florida that I have never heard of.  Obviously not gonna call back.

got a call telling me to call them.  I have no business with anything in Vancouver BC

I just received a text tell me call 778-776-9991 Omni American Bank. It sounded weird because I have never heard of them. So I googled the #. Im glad I did. Dont call anybody that doesn't have a # from the U.S.
