just received this call on my cell phone. I hung up after I heard something about credit card interest rates blah, blah, blah. I called the number back and the automated message said the number was no longer in service. For anyone interested, you can log onto the National Do Not Call List at www.servicecanada.gc.ca and register your home and cell numbers for the DO NOT CALL list. They provide information abouyt how the system works.....(we just did a couple of weeks ago) one of which the system takes 30 days to kick in. So these garbage call companies must update their phone lists every 30 days. If they are phoning you after 30 days since you registered, then you would lodge a complaint.....read the gov't website. Well worth the 2 minutes to register. Good luck.

this
"Just got a call from it on my cell.
I did follow the instructions and pressed #1 and a girl picked up the phone and said something like "credit services......." then something I could not understand as she spoke to fast. When I asked her to repeat as I could not hear her, she hung up."

Only got the tail end of the message left which was
"to be removed from our list." So that's clearly an automated message.
Of interest, I recently had my credit card limit changed, so this is suggestive probably credit data being sold.

I got a call from this number and opted for 1. I was told that they would want to improve my credit rating with my credit company. I asked them for the name of the company that placed this call. He kept on going that they are a copany who were going to improve my credit, so I could get for lower interest from my Credit Card company! At that time I told him clearly to F himself.
When I tried to phone the number left on my caller display, I was told that the number was not in service. Guess it's phone phishing scam to get your credit card info.

received this call on my cell phone...made the mistake of answering it, even with call display...was not a number i recognized, but thought it was a family member in vancouver area....as soon as i answered, computer voice announced it was a credit call...I hung up right away, called the number on my home phone when I got home to find out who/where they were calling from, knew it was telemarketing, but the number was no longer in service, all in a time period of 30 minutes...

There was a lot of noise in the background. Sounded like a telemarketing or collection agency boiler room
Same results as prior comments when I call back.

They called my cell phone. Only very few people have my number, and I didn't regonize this number. When I called in from a land line, the number was not in service.

They called my MagicJack. This is unlisted and only friends have it so I hung up. I don't talk to strangers about my credit cards anyway!

They called my cell. Didn't know the number so I didn't answer. No voice mail message. Called the number from a land line and get the automated recording.

They left an automated message, a lady with a British Accent. Something about Credit Card or press 2 to be removed from their list.

its a spoofed number. i called it back and it said the number was disconnected. and it left a voicemail but all the VM caught was press 2 to be removed from the list.
