No one there when I answer the phone.

this message says they want me to participate in a small survey.  and they say i will win a free trip to the bahamas for two people. gratuities and a small port tax will apply.i received this call in Quévec City

They didn't leave a message.

This is calling our house.  I answered but no one talked.  Will not answer again.

I received  another message this day....no body on the line, the other time is "sondage"  I don't have any answer to give her.....I received many time a week,..sometime in the day, later in the nigth or soon in the morning...

Classic case of predictive dialing gone wrong. Machine sets up more calls than operators for max efficiency at our expense. Should be banned!

How to deal with telemarketers: Tell them you are not interested. If they continue to talk, just put the receiver down (don't hang up). Let them babble away while you do something else. When you hear the phone beeping, you can hang up. Or you can say "Oh cool, just a sec, I'll be right back" ? then let them wait, until they get fed up an hang up.

Saves lots of time and annoys them.

Called me twice today, earlier today I called the number back and message ask to push # 1 to take a short survey or push # 9 to be put on the do not call back list.

The number is currently on switch number VANCBC16062 (switch is a technical specification for phone hobbyists) .

Tried to answer, no one responded. Dead air on return call. PITA. Would like the opportunity to tell them to F.O.

Got 2 calls between 7:30 - 8:00 pm PDT and there was no response but no dial tone either. Annyoing

No one on line, 30 seconds of dead air, then hangup. Have called my number 10 times in last 2 days. This area code out of Vancouver, BC.

Getting tired of this number calling..no one on the other end..

This number called me today,while i was sleeping,its a survery,then they offer u a trip..it is a garbage call.and they also put messages on the answering machine..What a bunch of pushy telemarketers Its time a stop was put to this...............

Ann keeps calling us from this number wanting us to answer a few questions regarding Canada's debt crisis.  For our time, she will allow us to travel on a 2 day cruise to the Bahama's!!  Of course!!! I'm sure!!!  I am sick and fed up with this whole daily interruption.

I have received the message from Anne stating that for answering a 30 second survey I would receive a trip to the Bahamas as the others have received as well. Since we have been receiving a call from this number 2 or 3 times a day for the last 30 days or so, I thought I would call them back and ask them to stop calling. When you call the number, the phone company says that they can not compklete the call as dialed. Most definitely a scam. I called both Telus and the Police department because I am very tired of this nuisance call. My answering machine is competely jammed up with calls from them. For a $3 a month fee , plus taxes, I can get them put on the blocked number list for my phone. Hmmmm, makes me think that with a little ingenuity, a "representative" from Telus could be making these calls so they can charge me more for the less than stellar service that they are currently providing me. Not gonna happen!!!

Best to never answer these numbers with no caller ID, or just block them if your telephone has that capability.. They are all scams of one kind or another. They use 'spoof' numbers which are  phony computer generated telephone numbers, so they could be calling from anywhere. Scam artists and collection agencies like to use this modus operandi to glean information. There should be a law against this stuff, but the telephone companies and law enforcement agencies won't do anything about it .

just the caled me too...did not answer...if it's Ottawa its MBNA  Mastercard that sold their list to these solicitors.. when I feel like it I play with these "survey people" I always ask them - "If you aren't selling me any thing then what is the ends to means of this survey? For every action there's an end to themeans. Give me an acceptable and intelligent answer to this question and I will consider to 'participate'" they're always stumped and they hang up. :-)

I didn't pick up on the unknown number to me in OTTAWA, Ont. Canada just now .

I got 2 missing calls from this number. It's only ring for 1 second. No chance to pickup. Seems their calling machine has trouble
