Ditto, ditto and ditto..... Just block the number or numbers one after the other from your phone if your set have that option.... Been doing that with all the annoying surveys, contests etc calls.... Works like a charm.

this number has been calling daily some times twice a day, not just my number but my elderly step dad's  both on do not call list. Has anyone pressed 9 to be removed did it work or is it a further scam??

Had two calls from this number today - one in p.m. and one evening.  Nobody on the line.  It's not the first time, and is very annoying!  Can't anything be done?

Answer but no one there.  Sure seems like a waste of their time and resources.  lol  I would guess they are not doing so well.

This is not really a political survey. The "survey" is a ploy that these criminals think protects them from the do-not-call rules. The questions are bogus and the calls are really about getting your credit card number to charge you for port fees and gratuities for a "free" two-day cruise that may or may not be real.

Just received another call from this number - no one spoke and after several seconds a recorded message said 'good bye.'

The numbers are spoofed - that is, they have equipment that fools the caller ID system so it will show any number they choose but not the one where calls are coming from. Call your phone provider and complain. They'll tell you they can't do anything about it. Today I told them any phone provider that decides to deal with these scammers would get my business.

Just got a call.  Didn't answer as knew what it was (all calls from the area code are nuisance calls)

this number keeps calling i didn't  answer but called it back  and it said its a rogers survey but the survey time has expired more than likely a scam.

I wonder now how many other times this happened to me and countless others who have not posted comments. Why call and hang-up? Whats the point? and most of all who is it? I will put a phone block on this number today.

I got at one call with silence at the other end everyday. Today this number appeared and when I called the number, it said the survey time expired.  I am getting fed up with these nuisanse calls.  I feel like screaming @#!*@#!!!! to the caller's face.

We have had two calls from this number, one at midday and the other at 8pm.  Hubby called back and the message was, that the number was out of service.  Do not take calls from this number and fall for their tactics

I live in Terrace BC and have had this number calling us twice.  I ignored it, but hubby phoned back and was told that the number is out of use.

I got a call from this guys. Answer our survey and get a cruise for 2 to the Bahamas. It's got to be a scam.

We're getting two or three calls a day with no-one on the other end when we answer.  *69 said the number calling was 778-785-6234.  Very annoying.

Robo-Ann is looking for my political opinions.
The problem is that because they're doing a "political survey", the do not call list does not apply!  (as surveys and political parties are exempt).  They've been calling my office every day for the last couple of weeks, with a different number every time.

I just called the number & got the following message: "you were called to participate in a survey & now that time is over".

I just saw this one on the call display..   I never answered.

It's come to the point where I'm getting up to five annoying spammer, scammer and phisher long distance telephone calls every single day.   Do not call lists are useless.

Until the telcos get together and try put a stop to this, I guess we just have to grin and bear it.

I like to know , who this is, there was only this nr. on my telfon screen, I answered , but nothing came from the other side.

I am being bombarded with robot calls and like everyone else getting sick of it. 1-778-785-6234 is a company called GT Telecom Group listed in Vancouver and I believe other places in Canada. I tried to reach them with there 1-250-353-0011 Number In the Vancouver yellow pages. The only problem is when you call the number is out of service, how convent for them.

I don't know about everyone else but my phone bill is already overpriced. Why should I have to put up with this garbage everyday.

P.S. Don't worry even if our Government started to take this serious and fine these call centres for doing this, they would just change there Business Name, Get New Unidentified Numbers and start all over again.

Called my# 8 times today. I never answer and never will!

I want to be taken off all these lists.
