These scam also use the numbers 1-778-785-2646, 1-647-725-2914 and 1-514-447-3073

I never answer long distance calls unless I recognize the number. They seemed to have called July 24th and somehow I have a bill from Rogers for that call as if I called them! It is only 15 cents BUT I am reporting to Rogers in case this is becoming another kind of scam.

Sorry, it posted 4, but I meant 14! I've gotten calls from 14 different numbers from these scumbags.

I'm pretty sure I have 4 different numbers from these same people. They keep calling....isnt this harassment? I'm seeing the same names on all of the forums so I know that I am not alone. What can we do to stop this?

calls and when I answer, no sound, no nothing, you an here a click at one point but it's not as is someone hangs up. It's outright creepy.

Have had these calls now for the last 3 weeks everyday and every night.  Have registered for the DONT call site; which is a big joke;

Any idea how we can knock them out of the system??

This number keeps calling along with a couple of other numbers from the BC area NEVER anyone on just white noise or a high pitched sound ANNOYING seeing as I am disabled and trouble getting to phone

I'm in Toronto, got my first call from this number today and didn't answer. According to my iPhone, the number is in B.C. Also got a call from 1-778-785-6230 a few days ago and it was another free cruise scam, so both these numbers probably originate from the same source.

When you receive a call, take notes of number (778-785-6244) and call CRTC at 1-866-580-3625 for complaint. They will ask you to give them the number, the company name (if possible) and the date of call.

They will do an investigation and if the call is from illegal telemarketing, the CRTC will communicate with the company and give them a penalty.

No one on the line and then a hang up?? You call the # back and all they tell you is "you have been called to participate in a survey, and this survey time has expired". If it's expired then DON"T call! Sick of these scamming companies/people!!

Just got the call for the 2nd day in a row. They appear to be using some sort of funky filter because I can't add the number to Telus' call screening.

Called yesterday night at 9:45.

I've had calls from this number several times and no-one is ever there when I answer.  How do I stop these calls?

This company seems to be offering a strange package. It says it's polling about Canada's debt crisis and then offers to give people who answer the 30 second poll the chance to win a trip for two to a location in the south. I'm concerned it's fraudulent.
