supervisor name is janet.

also calls as non profit health tec survey on air quality  and attempts to skim info on pets and how long you have lived in area. haven't been able to put a fix on what the company is really doing but the call ID shows up as 3072151002

Didn't talk once I heard the delay before someone said hello.
Caller ID said International Call.

How can I stop these annoying calls? Other than ripping the phone off the wall.

I keep getting calls.  The one time there was a "Hello?  Hello?" message from some stupid slag with an oriental accent on my machine.  I'm on a "Do not call list".  Stupid cow.  It's obviously an answering machine.

Number comes up as British Columbia.  Telus says they don't know who it is. $ounds like Bu***hit to me.   Had every # on do not call list called.  F***ing Bu***hit. CRTC has no balls.

they are calling my cell which costs daytime minutes.  never had calls from anyone other than my call list before, but went to stupid makeup party for arbonne from friend of friend who got sucked into their pyramid scheme and didn't find out til after they had my number that they are a scam pyramid style company already in chapter 11.

Got a missed call from this number.

It ends up leading to a vacuum sales pitch. I know someone who followed through with the survey, they call back a few days later saying you've won a prize and they they want to demo their vacuums.

778 is the new area code for the BC lower mainland, not just cell numbers. I have noticed this number on my call display in the last 2 weeks, but no messages are ever left. Last summer we received a call from "Health Tek" for a quick "air quality" survey, can't remember what number it came from, but a week after a call came from California to say we had won a prize for answering the survey and it was for 2 nights at a resort. My husband foolishly told them to come drop it off, and of course when the guys showed up it was to do with a vacuum cleaner demo. We said we weren't interested in the demo, just give us the prize. They gave a "certificate" - looked like a time share brochure, had to pick a couple of resorts in order of preference, send some money for "booking", and then commit to listening to some sales pitch once you get there. Not really worth the hastle.

Received a call from 778 ... on my cell phone.  Someone asked is this the lady of the house and I knew it must be marketing or a survey or something.  I hung up right away.  These calls costs me airtime on my cell.  How can we get rid of them?

Got a call from the same number but in the ID name spot it said V12060438400030. Did not answer.
Years ago soliciting calls and survey calls were not so annoying as there are now. They should be illegal due to all the fraud initiated by these calls. This includes collection calls as some of them are not legitimate and people send money to them that never goes towards their debt. It is always better to send money directly to the company you owe money to.

There just has to be a better way to do business. Period.

they called and asked the same questions

they were talking about air quality or something like that.. asked how many pets i had.. how many people lived in my family.. what my parents did for a living.. i wasn't around when but father picked up the phone... his english is very broken because he wasn't born here.. but he told me as best he could.. this led me to worry and i tried to call the number back and the message said the number wasn't in service..

i didn't pick up but when i called back after reading the above comments it said the number was not in service. to me this means that they faked the caller id and are probably not even calling from the 778 area code. definitely a scam!

According to my caller ID, I've received many, MANY calls from this number. A couple times a day, about 3 times a week. I've picked up a couple times and an accented voice asks for the lady of the house. I just say no and hang up. I tried calling the number back and it isn't in service. Seems suspicious to me.

i received a call from this same number. Same story, same questions. I read on another site that they will call back and make you pay shipping for a prize or attend a timeshare seminar.

i was concerned it was an identity theft thing, but the questions were inane.

I picked up the phone, thinking this was a friend of mine calling, given the area code.  At fist, there was no response.  I said hello again and then a woman said hello.  She said hello again and I admit I got a bit freaked out, as she was using a very seductive voice - drawing out the "hello".  She then asked for the lady of the house, same kind of seductive voice, and I told her that she had the wrong phone number - that I'd thought it was a friend of mine calling.  I hung up the phone but am still a bit creeped out by the way the lady acted on the phone.

I got a call from this number from someone with an accent and he said he was doing an air quality survey and asked if any suffered from asthma and then if I had any pets. Then they asked how long I lived in my current location and I clammed up and said I was done. They practically begged me to finish answering the questions. They got very urgent. Which, to me, help out themselves as fake.

Caller asked "are you lady of the house?" I said yes and was asked if I would answer a few questions. I said no and that we were on the do not call list, my partner received this call yesterday also.
Although I feel for the people who are calling - don't know how much longer I will be polite.

I just got a call from these guys. At first I thought it was a genuine survey and started answering the questions. It did not take to long before I realized that the questions had no relevance to who they said they were. "HEalth Tech?"... Total farse but not sure what info they get from the questions they asked me. Like my first name? Really wierd.

Also recieved a call from this number saying they were from a enviromental agency called 'health tek' and were doing a survey on 'clean air'. At the end of survey they asked for my first name and said it would be put into a raffle. I didn't feel right about this call after I hung up and made note of their number, the next day I called them back but no one answered. BEWARE if anyone calls from this number it is obviously a scam!

Health Tech - indicating we were drawn as one of five lucky winners of either an indoor BBQ or Hotel Package for three days and two nights. Once address was given we were told they would drop it off and ask for a referral.
