send 4 thousand dollar check claimed i won 580,000.00 promotions managfer was called zimmer steinheimer

I only won $370,000.  The check looks good, so I googled the bank.  There is a US Bank in Memphis, MO (the bank the check is supposedly drawn on) but google says the bank is on 231 S Market Street, while the check is from the bank on 231 Market AVENUE.  Strangwe bank, not to know it's correct address, hmmmm?

This guy must be the world's worst loser, to want to hurt people this way.  Oh, yeah -- it was mailed from Canada.

I also have a same kind of issue. I was sent  a letter from "Meridian Financial and Trust Co". It sent me the check of amount $4260 for government services and tax and it said  I won 250000. But when I see this was sent from Canada, I smell rat and I didn't deposit the check. Now I think it's spam, and beware of these kind of spams. Their contact information written in the spam letter is " Terrrence Smith- 1 778-323-4699 (for account agent)" and 1-866-262-8864 for Meridian Financial and Trust Co.

i just dont understand the scam why send a check to deposit and not ask for nothing in return i recieved the check and was told i won so i deposited the check and it messed up my accounts i have gotten them fixed now however i dont get what the scam is or what they gain from this please tell me your thought on it

well whatever you do do not deposit that check i did and it totally f****d up my bank account they the bank put a freeze on all my accounts and accused me of trying to fraud them all kind of pentalties and fees i had to pay . because if you have the money to cover the check you will have to pay back the money that you spent from that check and mabey alot of other s*** to go thru .this is  a huge scam man

I got a check for $2,984.00 and was promised a lump sum of $580,000.00 no info online on HC Foundation, no info on 101 River Way, Houston TX address and why was it sent from Canada????? Must be a scam!
