I got this call, id said private caller. Rattled off a bunch of questions, said she was with Amoco Envirormental taking survey out of Alberta Cañada, do I have pets? What do I do for a living, what does your spouse do for a living? How long has he been his line of work? Do you own or rent and for how long? Then what is your name(first only) and can we call you on this # verifying #. I did not give straight answers, I asked questions, she(Danielle) started getting short  with me because I was not giving into her. When she tried to verify my # "incase I was chosen for their daily drawing for a prize" I said I would prefer they not call me at all, she tried again and I responded the same way. She called me an "idiot" at least 3 times as I was hanging up on her. Just hang up do not respond to these people!

This number has called 16 times on the last 2 days.

Called twice today very annoying. Couldn't get to the phone the first time and ignored the second time as no name came up and I didn't reconize the number. Anyone else have any ideas on who this is?

called early in the day and asked to speak to man of the house. son said call back later. they called back and asked if they were speaking to the lady of the house. I knew it was a sales job from the start. from sl something doing a "survey". wanted to know if we had smokers, people with asthma or pets. wanted to know if we owned our house or rented and for how long. where did i work, was it full time. I twice asked if they were trying to sell me something. i hung up at that point after telling her that if they were just doing a survey about air quality they did not need to know if i had a full time job.

i think its a fax #  number calling.  it some times comes twice in a row but usually randomly 3 to 4 times a day.

I got the same call just now and it seemed a little fishy too. But I answered all the questions. They asked me how long I lived in my house. Did anything happen to you?

This clown called twice today - and hung up twice without answering when my wife said "Hello".

Called from 780 406-8008

fishy call re: environmental survey.  Seemed harmless at first, but then got more personal.  A backdoor way of telemarketing under assumed premises is what I believe.

Got a call yesterday from some home appliance firm re my responses to the so called survey on 780 406 8008. I think they are in to selling vacumn cleaners and the like given the questions on the environment asked on the survey. I didnt wait to find out and told the caller not to call back.

I received a call from this # yesterday and didn't pick up.  They just called again today so I decided to answer this time.  When I did they first assured me they were not trying to sell me anything and said they were doing a survey regarding my environmental quality. The first couple questions asked about pets & smokers in the house. The questions quickly became odd and personal in nature, like did I own or rent, how long had I lived in my residence? I stopped answering and eventually just hung up the phone.

7804068008 . Call's about 8x a day, asked how long I lived at my residence, and my full name and other personal questions. When I responded I was uncomfortable with these questions and hung up, I recieved 6 calls immediately after .

Re 406 8008, I spoke to Telus and was referred to two agencies: an outfit called Phonebusters used by the RCMP and other police agencies and the website at www.recol.ca where you can submit complaints.Both require specific info of wrong doing. Telus does not determine legitimacy of a "business" using the phone to make calls. The other suggestion was to use the no call registry as noted above.FYI.

I answered today since call was within 780 code. Caller said she was conducting an environment opinion survey. Someting fishy as she asked how long I lived here and my first name...I am folllwing up and will not be as gullible...

Person called and when I answered they gasped like they were suprised I said hello again with a little laugh and then they hung up on me.

I am on the no caller list and it was an within my area code so I thought it would be legit.

So did I.  I told them to remove my # from their list, and they kept calling.  I just registered with Canada's National Do Not Call List https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng
and filed a complaint with the CRTC.

I'm geting beween seven-ten calls from this #780-406-8008. When I pickup phone the line is busy,I redail # line is busy. Any info on this #.
