Canadian Diabetes Association collecting clothes and household goods in the area. They are legit but unless you tell them to stop calling they will keep calling back. Charities are exempt from the DNCL so if you want the calls to stop you have to tell them. Blowing a whistle in their ear is just plain ignorant especially if the person on the other end of the line is innocently doing their job or volunteering. I can understand the craving to do that if it's a scammer but legit charities who will stop if you tell them to don't deserve to get treated like that.

I also rec'd a strange call from 780 414 0070 (landline phone/Edm).
I didn't recognize the # so I didn't pick it up. The person (fool) on the other end left a long message of heavy breathing. So far it's only happened once.
My suggestion for ongoing unwanted calls from the same number - have a whistle by the phone and blow it loudly in to the receiver. I've used this method before with great success.

I keep getting calls from 780-414-0070, when I answer there is absolute silence. I have better things to do with my time than answer dead end calls. How does this kind of Crap keep happening on a "No Call List #"

Rec'd another call today from this number. The woman on the other end said she was with Canadian Diabetes Association - something about "Clothes Line".
