Hi, got this crap AGAIN... different number yet again. Have been called by these scum for years now in spite of being on the do not call list, or having my screening answering machine indicate its ILLEGAL to make telemarketing calls in all but very few subclause exceptions.

They keep calling regardless. Thank you Kerry and Rick, as I have written the Govt. AGAIN at this new address to lodge my complaint and demand jail/fines for the people/company involved.

As with the old DNC list email address, I fully expect my request and letter to be ignored, no matter how much I toned down my seething hate for being woken up this morning by yet another telemarketer.

call my number again and I will seek whatever recourse I can  be it legal or otherwise...You are calling my home every other day - time to quit it - not interested in your company and stop harrassing me.

Just got a call today at 1:20 PM, tried to call it back but it said the number was unassigned.

I received call from this number 7804489716 many times, when I say hello I could hear sounds talking  then  just hang up. I search this number this all the reports.who is this? why they are calling?

googled perfection carpet and got 780-448-9297, asked who ever answered regarding the number 780-448-9716 she said it was their automated calling system asked to be taken of their list

Person called asked for me and then hung up when tried to call back number not assigned.

can Telus check about this and take action to give Telus's customers a satisfaction

This number has been calling for over a year.  They have called 3 times this week.  I am on the 'do not call' list.  How are they allowed to get away with this?

My Caller ID told me I received a call from this number today at 10:09 a.m.  It was blocked by the Screen Machine I purchased from London Drugs (~$10)  last fall.  The machine works by giving all callers a recorded message that can be immediately bypassed by dialing 5.  This stymies automated calling machines which will disconnect.  It won't remove the calling number but I'm not too bothered because the phone will only ring once before the machine kicks-in.  It also stops real marketers who won't stay online to give a recorded message if we don't pick up.  Well worth the low price.

Same happened to me. Didn't answer, but when I called back the # wasn't in service.

Same thing happened to me today.

Received a called, again, from this number on September 24 @9:10 a.m.  This is one of MANY call I have had from this number.  I hit redial again and the message came back as this number is no longer in service.  I am not too sure why nothing has been done about this with so many people having problems.  How can someone have access to a number that is out of service???

PLEASE TELUS or who ever, put a stop to this.

I have received this #7804489716 several times.No one at the end. It always reads Perfection Carpet on the Caller ID. I can even put call block on it. Doesn't seem to work.

Got a call from this number today around 12:20.  Had to say Hello twice before someone came onto the line.  The lady then asked for me by my maiden name(have been married 5 yrs.) I have a unlisted phone number, and do not give it out alot.  Any idea who this lady is or why she is calling?

Someone phoned me from this number today as well but I was not home when they called. I tried to call it back the number is not assigned. I am going to give them a piece of my mind when they do call back believe me.

Just recieved a call AGAIN from this number....I can never call it back as it states that it is not available. Never leaves a message and always calls around 1-1:30Pm MT.

I got a call fom that # also more than once.  Not sure when and how many times but more than once at random times in different mothns.  They never leave a message and I get the same result as everyone else when I try to call back.

You should call the police about this, could be a thief checking when people are home.

Got a call today 3:26pm Mountain Time (Alberta) ... from this lady who seems to be in a conversation with someone "who does she think she is.." and when i said hello hung up on me.

I answered a call from 780-448-9716 at 1:20 pm; I had to say hello three times before I received a response from a woman who said "Sorry ma'am, bad connection" although I could hear her just fine..!!!  And when I hit redial, the message of "call cannot be completed as dialed" was given.  Of course...

Called today Feb 2 2011 11:48 am no message left.. Called the number back and the number is not in service... Now have blocked this number

I had this as well. When I dialed the number back, it said the number could not be completed and to check the number and dial again. Obviously some sort of scam.

Same annoying lady calling in the morning from 780-448-9716 re Perfection Carpet Cleaning Ltd. even though I'm on the Government No Call List.  She got a blast from me.

Got a call from them today from 780-448-9716 and via several means discovered it is Perfection Carpet Cleaning Ltd.  I called their switchboard and was informed that the people in their marketing division were not in.  I asked why I got a call then and she said "that machine must be acting up again".  I have turned this over to the CRTC as all numbers I own are on the DNC and I have never done business with them.  I suggest everyone who receives one of these "automated" calls report it to the Canadian Radio-Tevevisoin and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) at http://www.crtc.gc.ca/RapidsCCM/Register.asp?lang=e
