Kind of strange - but this number called us 3 times yesterday (answered it the first time and we identified them as a telemarketer, but husband couldn't remember the company's name).  We hung up on them mid-way through.  They called back at least twice after that within a few hours.  Today, they called 2 or 3 times again.

I got a creepily similar call just a moment ago.
They said that same thing about an environmental survey but asked about energy efficiency instead of air quality. "Call Somebody Inc" showed up on my caller id, along with a local phone number. They wanted to know things about the size of our home, gas or electric, if our power bill was average, etc. The young woman on the other end of the line was actually nice, so I was compliant. She also mentioned something about calling me back about a gift. That's what tipped me off to something seeming fishy. But the strange thing here is that I got this call in Birmingham, AL. There's something odd about it all...

Yes i was getting this all call all the time, they didn't leave any messages and hanged up if you answered.

Good news i put them on my call reject system i set with my computer, and now i don't half to hear them call in again and put up with there bull sh*t scams.

Ex... Kill all 1-800 Numbers, spec numbers like 780-510-2478, plus the messages to spec numbers to basically tell them to f**k off!

Also this system works with unknown numbers like ex... my call blocker will tell the party to disable there call blocking feature. This is a loop hole for solicitors use to try *67.

Remember when someone calls that you don't know, chances are they always want something from you.

these people have called me 14 times in the last 2 days

A indian person from this number called and asked if I could answer a few questions, it would only take a minute of my time. I answered the first five or so questions then he asked my what I did for a living as a said I was a Mom the he asked what my husband did for a living. I informed him that i was not married, he then started to drill me about having a child and not being married. I asked if this was a problem for him, he said YES it is a problem. I asked why.. thats when he hung up on me. I tried to call the number back and it was out of service.

These jokers have been phoning our house every day for weeks now. They phone 5 or six times a day, every day including weekends - morning and afternoon, never leave messages and sometimes callback 3 times in the same hour.

Strange that they identified themselves to an earlier poster as an Edmonton company, since we are in Edmonton and their number ID's as long distance??

Answered it finally, someone VERY hard to understand said something about an environmental survey and proceeded to question about smokers in the house, allergies, pets - and then how long living in the house, followed by how many people are in the house and which are working out of the house during the day...

That's when we told them no more answers and not to call back. Sounds like burglary recon considering how many times a day they phone, no proper caller ID, and the long distance number used for a local survey??

Lucky for us the house is alarmed and we have dogs!

Said he was from Sterling Solutions asked about air quality and proceeded to asked if anyone smoked in the house if anyone had asthma. He asked how long living in house and asked if anyone what type of work we worked in and if we worked fulltime and how long.Can't remember name. Said might win prize and confirm number he had called me at. Just seem to ask more questions were asked off topic of air quality. My guess is vaccum sales and checking if we can afford the overpriced Sh_t.

Got call for them, doing airquality survey, said i won a prize. I'm betting is vacuum cleaner people, going to show me how their vacuum cleans my air .....

Calls at least once a day. They almost never leave a message. The one message they did leave was a woman saying "This is harassment" as if she was describing what it was she was doing. Weird.

They called me once two days ago and three times yesterday. All four times they stayed on the line after getting my answering machine. I could hear someone breathing (not in a creepy fashion, just breathing) and some activity in the background. They hung up after 10 seconds or so each time. Very strange.

Telephone survey, purportedly about air quality, although few questions deal with actual indoor or outdoor air quality issues. Caller identifies self as Ivan, company as Sterling Solutions, doing survey in Edmonton and Calgary areas. Says you may get a call back if you have won a prize for your participation. VERY STRANGE - likely scammers or trying to identify homes they can break into.

They call continually - never leaving a message.  I started picking up and immediately hanging up several times, and the call stopped, but only for that day.  Next day they started again.

They call many times a day and never leave a message. It is annoying in the extreme. Maybe they will finally give up if I don't answer.

I reported this phone number to the National Do-Not-Call list.  Not sure if they will do anything but hopefully something will happen.  This phone number called me 3 days in a row - twice the first day, 3 times the 2nd and once today.  I noticed that they called me parents as well.  How annoying!

This number repeatedly calls my senior parents home over and over. No messages left. My mother won't answer numbers she doesn't know and although she leaves this to the machine she is tiring of the phone ringing over and over. Someone needs to stop this number and many others from being able to harass people. Cause thats what it is.....harrassment!
When are our phone companies and the CRTC going to doing something about this. I have the same problem. I should not have to continually pay for my phone bills with the harassment accompanying it. Do something for your customers and stop these telemarketers etc. from getting away with this crap.
