Just got a call from this number, recorded voice told me that one of my accounts had been accessed by a third party.

Called and I missed, didn't leave vm

This number just called me and did not leave a voice mail. From the comments on this site, it seems it's better than people don't answer.

Called at 2:45 a.m., didn't identify which card had been accessed by a third party but they notified me that I needed to contact their security department.

Midnight 7/19, garbled and hard to understand, something about my bank account. Called back, busy, and then no answer.

received a phone called from number #780-638-6515 at 2:04am.  i didn't recognize the phone # right away since i was already sleeping and probably on my 4th dream.  it left a message so i went ahead and check it.  i couldn't understand the message cause it was very garbled.  so i went ahead and delete it and went back to back.

Got a call from this number and it wanted me to input my debit card number - said something was wrong with my card.  Contacted the credit union to make sure nothing legitimate was wrong with my account and they confirmed that this is a phishing (sp?) scam.

If I had entered the card # they would have asked for tons more info and (quite possibly) have robbed me blind.

Received a call from 780-638-6515 on 7/20/2010 @ 4:55pm. Caller ID said Alberta and I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. My phone recorded their recorded msg, very garbled, especially the parts where they say their company/bank name and what account of mine was supposedly compromised.  I was to press 1 to be transferred to their security department.  
This call reeks of a scam.  DON'T ANSWER OR CALL BACK.
The 780 area code is in Alberta Canada and I seriously doubt any U.S. company I do business with has a Canadian security branch that handles US accounts.

got a call from this number - same story as everyone else.  I couldn't understand the name of the bank on their recording, but they wanted me to press "1" to be transferred over to someone who would help me as one of my accounts had been improperly accessed.  I called the number back, and got no answer after ringing about 10 times.  When I called again, it was busy. PHISHING SCAM!

got the same one at 9:52 PM CST, same number, same message, unfortunately I answered it...hopeflly these s**theads leave me alone.

call the computer generated call saying my account was suspended on a bank we don't use. they said to press one to be connected to their security dept.

Received automated call but did not catch which credit card was suspended. When I waited and was transferred, they wanted 16-digit credit card number. I did not enter anything and pressed zero to get to an operator. Nothing happened and when I called the phone number, no answer. Must be a scam?

Yep, definitely an a** who has nothing better to do than try to steal people's hard earned money.  My caller ID showed "Alberta" next to the number 780-638-6515.  I did not answer, but I have read on many sites that people who do answer continue to get call backs at all times of the day/night.  Amazing how this a** got so many cell phone numbers.  Mine cell # is new, and has not been given out.

Husband also got this same message....I tried to enter 00000000000 as the account and was put on forever hold.   Hung up and searched here and saw the call was a scam.

called and advised my credit card was being suspended. Tried to speak to someone and was unable. I tried to call back only to be hung up on once it was answered. This is an unwanted call and according to onine reports a scam. please block number.

Just got a call from this number, the voice kept going in and out, all I could catch was that my acct had been suspended due to 3rd party activity. It didn't say which bank or card, kinda fishy

Same thing just now.  Call kept cutting in and out saying citibank card was suspended due to charges from unauthorized third party.  Figured it was a scam as I dont have a citibank card.

Just happened to me. - At 2am, no less. Lucky for me, I am up at that time. Reported to the FTC, for all the good it's likely to do for a scam from Canada.

Called my roomates cell first same story after she hung up 3 mins later my cell rings & it was the SAME lady! Her phone showed the # mine was blocked! Freaked the living s*** out of us! Actually called friends to come over & look around outside!!!! We don't have any joint accounts & nothing with both of our cell phones! How & the hell did they know to call both of us back to back???? Happened at 11:54pm 07/19!

Received a phone call from them on my cell not more than 5 minutes ago.  Right now it is 11:40pm atleast have the descency to not call in the middle of the night.

Call from this number to my mobile 19 Jul/4:04pm CT.  Did not recognize number and didn't answer.  No voicemail left.

This number dialed ("Alberta" was the Caller ID) and left a message that my credit card was temporarily suspended due to a third party something-or-other.  I dialed my credit card company's customer service dept and they said there was no problem or flag on the account; that all was well.

This number just called me a few minutes ago. The caller did not leave a voice mail.

I always let it go to voice mail if the area code is unfamiliar because wasting minutes on what could easily be a fishing call is senseless!
