Got a call from 780-784-8000 ; exactly the same story as reported by the very first thread (Tania i believe ? Thank you by the way).
At first, automated message indicated i had won 2000$ voucher from Expedia.ca
Then i get the same story about 2 vacations offered for the price of one ... Cancun & Orlando.
Valid for 2 adults + 2 kids ; i asked what about my 3rd kid ; they said no problem !
Very sophisticated scam in my opinion ! (Sales pitch, 1-800 number on back of credit card preventing any fraud .. audio recording provided ..)
I almost bought it ... except i NEVER EVER buy something on the phone, if I didn't call :)

This number called me on 03-Nov-2012 at 4:13 pm (BC), claiming to be from "WestJet", and offering me a heavily-discounted flight. CBC News is reporting that this is a scammer, trying to get valid credit-card information.  A spokesman from WestJet states that they don't do any such call-outs.

They called me Sunday morning 9:00 a.m.

I am so sick and tired of having this phone number call me. I want it blocked from my cell phone now!

Just got this call on my cell - November 3, 2012 in southwestern BC.

When I picked up, I just got an automated message saying "6UV1 The number you have called is not in service". Once I hung up, I got a missed call notification for this same number (not sure if that could just be a phone quirk though). The phone was in my hand at the time, so this whole thing is very confusing, especially the automated message when I answered.

I don't answer  name withheld calls; especially when the last four numbers are repeating pairs, as in this case 2323.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone too.  I let them spew on for 10 or 12 minutes then hung up.
I won an all expense paid trip to Mexico after I gave them my cc number of course.

just got this call and couldn't find it on 411.ca reverse lookup..found this site by googling the number..very useful because, now that I know it's a marketer, I can assign it the toilet flush ringtone so I don't answer it.

This is so annoying! I just got a call. I wonder why calling back doesn't work.

Same number called me back in 18 Oct 2012, but again yesterday 604-768-7695 and called the number and it was some poor guy..

So this is the deal........

You get called from a auto-dialer that connects you to the Scam Artist when you press 1.
They said Global Group Travel searching that name I couldn't find anything.

They then ask you you age and if you have a credit card, then forward you to what ever company is paying them. For me it was http://karismahotels.com. and once you are forwarded to them they try and sell you something.

They called again and right after I pressed 1, the guy asked me age, and I started in with remove my number and I want to talk to you manager. Which he hung up

So i'm not sure what to do now as they just hang up and you can't get any info from them.

Just got a call from 780-664-2323; never answered it because my cell number is new, and I haven't given it to anyone in Alberta.  Hmmmmm.  Sounds fishy to me.

I got this pre-recorded Westjet call too - claiming that I am a valued Westjet customer and all that garbage.  It's obviously a scam, because I've never flown Westjet.  Ever.

how do you auto-call foward ?  is this the regular call forwarding?
in any case, I lose airtime whenever they call...

they called my cel, and my provider does not allow removal of voicemail, so every spam msg that goes to my voicemail   is deducted from my airtime  :-(  

by the way, these spams started right after i upgraded to a droid...   coincidence?

This number has called 3 times in the last week and never left a message... I have now electronically eliminated it in our database and have set it to auto-call forward.   It is automatically forwarded to a toll-free government # in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  Most annoying and we hope the government gets annoyed as well.  Their do not call lists are a literal joke.

Is it somebody reading this? this is annoying, we should go against Rogers, others companies don't allow telemarketing.
