Use one of those chat programs, if there is a charge it won't go through.

I am tempted to go to a pay phone and call this number and one from Florida and let them 'know a thing or two'.

Using my home phone number could be costly as I am not sure that some of these jerks want you to call them from your home or mobile phone where outragous charges may be incurred. Something like the scams of a few years ago where certain numbers cost the caller; similar to the voting' calls one can do for some of the 'talent' shows that are on TV. Each call costs $0.50 or $1.00, except the scammers have  much higher dollar figures attached to their calls.

These guys have called me before. A 3rd party company giving you a service reminder about your car..well mine anyway. Harmless

Just set up my call Blocker for all 1-800 numbers plus this number 780-665-9979 is now getting though now, so sales market company's are using phone generators to get by the call blockers that block all 1-800 numbers.

Just saying this because my own phone number come up after i setup the blocking service, ya that's impossible to phone my self with my home number, unless you using phone generators.

Looks like sales people are getting around the system with call blockers now.....

Was calling for car maintenance

I also received 4-5 calls from this number in the past week but no voice messages until today.  It was my car dealership (no identity as "Aspen Marketing") reminding me of my next maintenance check up.

keep getting calls from 780-665-9979 and when i pick up it dead air, does anyone know who it is?

Ok - I take that back - they are Aspen Marketing calling on behalf of your automotive dealer to give you service reminders for the maintenance of your vehicle. Well if that's the case why have the called me 2x a day for the past week and left me no voicemail message until today?????? They knew all about my car and refered me to my car dealers phone# to book my appointment - and they knew the approximate mileage.

Lol now they know your number is real not another dud! Lol they call me once a week regardless what you do. Tell'm your gonna find them in there cubical if they ever call you again and they will be sorry. It worked for my buddy. Call free for a month. I haven't got my call yet this week but when I do I'm gonna try out his tactic. Good luck.

I called it back and told them to stop calling, like they instruct you to do, and now they call even more!

calling 2-3 times a day for the last week but never leaves a message. 1-888-539-7474 usually calls first followed by 780-665-9979.
