Got a call from this number and states "This inst a telemarketer call it is an important government agency, please press one and stay on the line." I did and nothing happened. I had called the number and it wasn't in service? How can this be? This kind of action is fraudulent and the company who is doing this needs to be charged. I am in Alberta and have called the service provider as to why an out of service number is calling me. But they said they have no control of who uses what numbers??? What a world, nobody takes responsibility for their actions.
I got a message and it say to call 1-877-342-3263

This phone is from a GLOBAl collection or global something, and someone calls your house 24/7 and hangs up...middle of the night!! I reported to RCMP and I blocked the number

Messgae was "This is an important call from a government ministry, please stay on the line and press one to reach an operator" I did and put on hold, called back and number not in service?

Multiple calls, sometimes back to back.  Never an answer and the number is out of service when I call back.
