They called late last night from that unknown number; I've now blocked that number...

This number called 780-669-0955 at 9:15 am. It did not say on my caller id who they were so I let it go to the answering machine. But they never left a message. I did blocked this number.  I am really irritated by all these unwanted soliciting phone calls.

This is the 'Tania Murrell Missing Children's Society' based out of Edmonton Ab.  Their license was revoked Jan 29, 1994 because they failed to file tax returns to the CRA.

I still find it amazing that these callers when you try a reverse look up on their telephone number their company is not listed!! Therefore they are illegal and scammers.Their telephone # will appear and IF you answer and  ask for their company name they just hang-up. CROOKED people trying to fleece monies for FALSE charities that do not exist.

Again a total screwup by our government to allow these telemarketing companies to have free reign without regulations. Their identity should be compulsary along with their telephone #, so we the public can block ALL unwanted calls. Where are OUR rights.

It "Missing Children Society of Canada", a charity.  They've switched their phone number recently, I know because I had the old one blocked and then they called on this new one.
