This number has called multiple times within the same day for multiple days. Never leaves a message, when calling the number back an answering machine picks up claiming to be the 'Voter Outreach Line' and wants you to leave a message. Traces back to the number show it's a cell phone in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada.

Highly recommend ignoring and/or blocking number.

It probably is a voter outreach line given that we are currently in an election:)

When you leave a message on my answering machine please use my correct (current) surname plus a name and number of whom I should call back.

I received 6 calls from this number in the space of 90 mins during evening of Feb 26, 2008.  No message left on my answering machine for any of them.  Last call at 8:53 pm; well past normal cutoff time for "acceptable" (yeah right) telemarketing / survey calls.

I maintain my phone number for my OWN use; not for the use of every single goober out there who thinks he/she can call me for every reason under the sun.  I really resent these people.

Given that Alberta is currently in the midst of a provincial election, and given the 2 previous comments, I have to think this is the work of some misguided polling firm &/or one of the provincial political parties.  Doubtless the guy managing the automated calling system is a wet-behind-the-ears newb who can't handle the controls.
