Political parties are not exempt from this rule.

Same exact thing with me too. Like 4 times last week! Really starting to agitate me.

Its Home Land Security. They find out that you are home and aim the satellite at you and fry your Medulla oblongata.

I was getting the same call, now when I see who it is I pick-up and start pushing the ##### key multiple times before they can start the pitch.It works with most computer generated calls,makes the computer think it called a fax phone # and kicks the number out of call list.or use *60 and block the call.
You can block on cell phones also:Check with your plan for instructions.

Surveys are exempt from the Do Not Call registry, but this person is NOT abiding by the CRTC regulations for making automated phone calls - even if they ARE a legitimate survey company, which I doubt.

why does this number keep calling me, it is irritating when know one says anything on the other end

I NEVER answer my phone unless I recognize the phone number.... very simple   If its someone I dont know... I guess they will leave a message if its important.  People nowadays answer the phone because it rings??????

I got a call from the (780) number at 6:15 and 8:30 pm on Feb 20. Missed the calls.

Ive been getting phone calls from 780-702-6724. I called the number back i got a recording that said this number has not been assined yet.if it has not been assined yet than how can i get calls from this number? This is really starting to tick me off.

I got the same call @ 6:52 pm on Monday night, and didnt recognize the number so I didnt answer.

The calls come after 8:30 PM, which I don't appreciate
and there is always a hang up
I called back and it said that the number was unassigned

They called at !0:42 PM and woke me up. What's wiyh these creeps and the government for allowing it!!!

Got this call on my celll 19:15 family day, its sad that im now in the habit of not answering any cals unless i recognise them! There definatly needs to be a law against this robocall BS. I need to tell off a real person, telling off a macine just isnt satisfying.

I am sure getting tired of these calls...got the 403 one yesterday at like 8 pm, 3 times in a row they called cause i didn't pick up...then tonight got this 702 call around same time, twice in a row...and it's on my CELL!! So not even safe from these people with a cell phone...so sick of these calls all the time. Would like to see the cbc do a piece on it, surely there must be millions of us fed up with these calls!!!

I got a call at 9:05 pm telus time, Edmonton is it not illegal to tele market after a certain time of evening ? I'm shure I am not the only one with young children. I have gotten the call from 780- and 403 this is harassing I can't believe the provincial government allows this to go on . UNIMPRESSED . If your going to call me at 9 pm or later I deserve to get a response when I answer.

This is a bunch of garbage! If a political party wants my vote or any info the least they could do is identify themselves before they ask me anything. Everyone here needs to send an email to thier apropiate MP/MLA and also the premiers office so that they know what is going on. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

Stupid # called at 9:00pm on Family Day! Didn't answer, but decided to call it back. The operator said "this number has not yet been assigned"?!?! How does a number call you that apparently no one has?!

Everyone is getting the same thing happening.  What exactly can be done to get rid of this type of call. Is it a political party? Why are the phone companies giving the number out as a " not assigned number".??? Obviously it has been assigned !!!!!  Any ideas?

Have seen this number show up a couple times on my call display for times I was not home, no message was left. I got another call from this number about 10 minutes ago which I answered and it was a computerized survey on issues and party favorites for the upcoming Alberta election, took about 2 minutes to complete.

I got 3 calls from this number and 2 from 780 702-1508 . Since 2 PM today.  Called back and number not yet assigned.  Thanks Telus, selling untraceable numbers to ???????.

We got two calls as well but now I know how to do selective call blocking.

Stop calling our house. I would love to have your house number and hang up every time you pick up. How would you sleep at night? Quite taunting  my family. If its politics then shove it!
