Just received another call from this number. I answered it by accident. The mans name was "Adam" and it took me forever to cut throughbhis shmoozing before he told me he was from Royal Bank of Canada. He wouldn't tell mw why he was calling, and eventually I just hung up.

Have recieved several calls from this number. Does not leave any messages and when you answer they hang up?!

keep getting  a call from 7807027489 who is this ??....
there are thousands of complaints about this numbe ...why can't phone company stop these calls if they are not wanted by so many people....

780 numbers are an area code in Alberta

i think its a call made from Skype...not a real phone number.

our company keeps getting calls from this number up to 7 times in a day.  we have pressed #9 to be placed on their do not call list but they continue to call everyday.
How do we stop this from happening all the time?  We are a business and don't need these annoying calls coming in all the time.

This is a nuisance call. Received number many times. Refused to respond to my silent answer. They were waiting for my 'hello' or "yes" to turn their automated system.

So, I got a call from (780) 702-7489 last night around midnight. I didnt answer. I'm an Aussie in Canada at the moment but reading the other posts, we calls like back home to. They ask you to provide them with remote access to your PC. Don't do it! SCAM. Love coming over here.

this phonecall came to me from 780-702-7489. He told me he was from Windows Service Center. I asked him what his name was and he said Allen. I then asked him what his last name was and he said Smith (no shock). He had a thick foreign accent. When I asked him from where he was calling he again said windows service center and I asked him what country he was calling from and he hung up. B*****d.

they've been calling me a number of times too 'during the day'  but i don't answer to #'s i dont' recognize.. the display was as followed ->  00000000 780-702-7489

I received a phone call from this (780) 702-7489 and there is nobody there.  Is this a scammer
number?  I also receive lots of unavailable numbers with nobody responding, I wait and then they
finally hang up.

I had call from this number at 3 am and again at 330 am It was a bunch of people Chattering and breathing.  Do you know if there is anything that can be done???

Have had 2 calls so far from this number. Heavy accented male says he's from the Windows department, and that I had a problem with my Windows. So I decided to have a bit of fun with him and play completely dumb - pretended I thought he was talking about the windows in my house. I kept going on and on about how it's February and it's a bad time of year to fixing windows because the house will get very cold. He tried saying he needed access to my "online windows" and I said why can't he use the door like everyone else? I said in Canada we generally don't climb into our houses through the windows; only the burglars do that - and then I asked him if HE was a burglar. He hung up on me!!

Idiots are at it again, Rude Mombai ppl. I asked that they remove my number and the feckers hung up on me.. That was yesterday, now they just called again and I started talking to inform them of yesterdays call and he started rambling again. I said Excuse me... !!! he stoped and after me talking for 5 seconds the idiot hung up on me,. Anyone have an airhorn to blast into the phone ????

You went through all that work...why don't you just not answer the call. Or even block that number.

He called me to clarify my name and address and then gave me his name as John Richardson ID8557 his phone no which is 2132213541 and his website is www.usagovernmentgrants.org
So I live in Canada, He called from Canada Alberta and was offering me a $6000 Grant from Canadian Gov
What I failed to understand is my received call no was showing both the 780-702-7489 and 905000158170
I would like to warn whoever receive these stupid calls not to give any Bank information or SIN # and that was what this foolish Guy was insisting on. I didn't give instead I offered him to take the grant himself.

Got a call from 780-702-7489 trying to sell me a free cell phone all I had to do was pay the one time activation and the $34 a month for service, I hung up on him and he actually called back, I told I was not interested and usually when people hang up they are not interested.

Said they where call from Leger Marketing Group with a survey for Alberta parks and recreation.   Asked for my postal code and first name then hung up.  the number I was called from was 790-702-1508

yes it worked! i actually was told it is Leger Marketing Group and YES THEY are calling from 780 area code but would remove my number asap! we'll see...

The best thing to do is block the number. There are a few ways you can do this:
If they're calling your landline or cell phone (not a smartphone) call your service provider and ask if call-blocking is available
If they're calling your smartphone, look on your screen for an app market icon, click on it and search for a call-blocking app. There should be several available.

i have been getting missed calls from this number and im scared after reading these all comments.. it is really creepy

I am residing in mississauga, Today i got 3 blank calls from 7807027489 and when searched in google for this number there is a complain record going on this number. So, i wish to notify even i got a call from this number.

Hi Everyone, I also have been getting numerous calls from this company....they say they are a research company......I FOUND OUT THEIR ACTUALL OFFICE NUMBER AND SOMEONE DOES ANSWER......SO I ADVISE EVERYONE TO CALL THEM BACK AND TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM THIER LIST....I ACTUALLY THREATENED THEM WITH POLICE INVOLVEMENT AND THEY TOOK MY NUMBER AND SAID THEY WOULD REMOVE IT.

HERE IS THEIR OFFICE NUMBER  TO ERASE IT FROM THEIR FILES. CALL THEM 1-800-404-2464 .....AND LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE FED UP WITH THIS! I HOPE 100'S OF PEOPLE CALL THESE IDIOTS....THEY CALL 2-3 TIMES A DAY!

I got a call from this number today. The lady said I had won a prize (they called me the other day asking me some questions. "Am I a home owner etc"
I told her that I don't want the free prize and I will not be answering any more questions. She eventually said okay and we parted ways.
If they call me back, I will tell them NOT to call me again.
