yeah I had fun with them too when I switched to Telus after crappy service. My digital cable was out ALL THE TIME. They tried to claim I had a digital PVR of theirs and wanted it back but I had bought it outright from Best Buy and only had service from them. They threatened to sue to get it back. I said fine I have a receipt to prove I bought it and obviously you have nothing. Only place worse is Best Buy and their extended warranty scam.

After 13 years of service I dropped Shaw Internet because they were providing bad service and speeds and kept raising the price. They refused to improve my service, lied to me and stole off me once. When I asked them to disconnect me they took 30 days so as to get an extra months pay out of me. They refused to buy back the modem I had bought off them, as I had been told they would when I Bought it. Without careing about my concerns, they simply gave the account to this bill collection agency. Its 65$ for the month and 50$ for the modem, coincedentally what they are asking for. I will not pay this bill, and would really like them to sue me so I can bring up that they failed to provide the speed of service that I was paying for, for several years, (about 10), and perhaps get half of my money back ($3000). Its sad when a company loses a longtime customer however i am with a competator now, getting twice the speed for half the price (and thats the regular deal, not a special). Good bye and Good riddance Shaw, I smile each time your Alberta collection agency calls me.

I recieved repeated harrassing calls, from this number 1 780 969 8962. No one on the line when I picked up. I phoned them back, it was a bill collection agency.  I gave them my number and they asked for someone. I told them I didnt know them, so they said they removed my number.  We shall see.
