I called her back next morning. Company is Gragil Associates. They are a collection agency for Hospital bills. Very polite and understanding company. Call them back and deal with your bill. They'll help you.

Just got a call from a very rude woman-refused to take my attorney's information! ISN"T THAT ILLEGAL???

THey were not being nice they by law have to report paying as agreed if you are on a payment plan. and paying the payments.

This office has called me intermittently for about 2 years now.  I have never received any paperwork in the mail from them, and on the occasions when I attempted to answer their call, they would not tell me why they were calling.  And they never asked for anyone who lives in my house, either.

I got a call from this number earlier today. I called back the 800 number I saw from googling it. They have no idea who I am, no records of calling me, and just asked me if I knew someone named Melissa who shared my last name. Asked me if I had any other numbers that she then listed, which I did not. So she said if they called, must've been important but they have no idea what it was for. So, I guess i'll just wait to see if they call again one day.

The person who called asked for someone I have never heard of in my life. When I tried to explain to the caller that they have the wrong number they called me a "liar". I will go on to report this to the highest office possible.

The woman I spoke to many times was very understanding and patient.  They are collecting a debt.  They seem to understand that it's not really your fault that you got sick, and are patient working with you.  Although the collections does hit your credit, they are nice enough to put you on a payment plan and report "paying as agreed"

this number just called me on my cell, i picked up and said "hello," and they hung up!  who does that? if this is a business company, they are being really childish.

We just received a call from these people......They screwed up bad...HIPPA RULES AND REGS....They gave me all the info to hang them....MASS GENERAL WILL BE CALLING THEM TOMORROW!!! Can you say ILLEGAL...They called the wrong house and I have all the info...even when we told the RUDE LADY that that was not us.....CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE IF THEY CALL YOU... There are rules: Chapter 93 section 49   940 cmr 7.00--7.o5 and 06 THEY BROKE THEM ALL! They will be all I will do all day tomorrow. If everyone calls about the RUDE LADY (attorney General) she will be loosing her job or they will be loosing their clients......TRUST ME    HIPPA IT"S ABOUT A MEDICAL BILL....SHE EVEN GAVE ME THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

They call my phone about 2 or 3 times a day and leave no message and now me and my fiance are fighting because she thinks is another woman calling my phone I am gonna seek help for this is not the first time it's happened before and it's stressful on me and my relationship w/ my fiance.

The above message is true. I had a lucky break at work when my boss was bemoaning how much her baby cost (hospital) and the crappy insurance we have at work.  She continued that her friend works for a collection agency and proceeded to define the differences between retail (capricious) and medical (necessary/human right) billing.  Even if you have outstanding bills, you cannot be refused necessary medical treatment.

When it comes to medical collections... they have absolutely no right to demand payment in full. Medical collections is treated very differently than retail, medical treatment is thought of as a necessity where as retail is more of a want then a need. So if you tell them you plan to send in $1 month, they HAVE to leave you alone!

The voice mail said they talked to my wife a few weeks back about this important business matter. I'm not even married and my only phone is my cell phone. They need to get better at lying.

This is a collection agency for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. My caller ID said Business Office. The company is Gragil. I pay them for a medical bill we incurred while my husband had no insurance. If you miss one month, they want the balance of the bill. Don't they realize if you have to skip a month, that you certainly can't afford the whole bill. I think Beth Israel should talk to the patient about the circumstances before they turn your account over to these people. I had one doctor forgive half of my bill if I paid it off right then.

This call I recieved was from Greegle associates?? I'm pretty sure its a bill collector, because I think they are calling me regarding my sons hospital bill!! And they happen to use a specific name so I know its them. I'm not sure on the spelling!!! Very rude woman.. Like I'm ever going to call them back!!

Yes, it is Gragil Associates out of Pembroke MA, but the caller ID says Hanover MA. They are a medical bill collector and have called BEFORE the 30 days expired on your Federally-protected (FCRA) right to dispute the bill.

"Kelly White" left a different callback number (800-336-0299) for my housemate, about "a personal business matter in your name" -- from what I've read on here, since she's been in the hospital recently, it's probably related to that.

Received a call, he asked for my husband, I asked who was calling and he asked if I was xxxxx and said yes. I asked who is calling, he said Martin.  He asked to speak to my husband again and I asked what is this in referance to? He sounded discussed and ended hanging up on me. I tried to call back front he caller ID and no one would answer and then it went to an out of order sound. I hope they do not call again.
