This is a common number that appears on Caller ID when someone receives a call from a Lahey Clinic (now Lahey Hospital & Medical Center) campus in Burlington/Peabody/Lexington MA. Legitimate calls from doctors, appointment follow-ups, etc. Of course as someone else mentioned, scammers can spoof the system to appear as any number they want, but if you are a Lahey patient, that's probably who is calling you. You would think it would come up as the main switchboard number (781-744-5100), but for some reason they don't have it set up that way.

This number automatically called my cell phone 10 times, interrupting an operation I was performing.

Folks, this may be the number of the Lahey Clinic, but be aware that now, with computers, scammers can substitute a legitimate number for any business to get you to answer.  If this truly were the Lahey Clinic, why doesn't that name appear in the caller-ID?  Chances are this is a scammer.  I live in Louisiana near the Gulf of Mexico so I would not be receiving a call for an appt. in Massachusetts.  Wouldn't happen.  If this isn't a scammer masquerading their real number, then perhaps it's some survey about the Affordable Care Act.

This is Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. For me, it's always a reminder of an appointment I have. But it is their general phone number going out so you can't tell what extension/department they are calling from. So I always let it go to voicemail anyways because they always leave a detailed message with all the information I need.

Yes this is the layhe client I have received calls from there and I have called back and talk to drs there.
Don't worry folks this is not scam. They can't leave a message cuz maybe they are unsure of whos number they are calling.

it is DEF the Lahey Clinic, Burlington MA I am from VT and made trip to the ER while I was there and they just called me. Its just the genaric number that pops up for any of the above billinf appointments, anything.

yes it is a lahey clinic number.  my mom has worked there for almost 30 yrs and i KNOW this number.  they are probly calling to confirm an appt or a dr is calling with test results ect.  its nothing to worry about unless its the billing dept.

Lahey Clinic for me.  This number has shown up on half a dozen calls from them (an automatic messaging service confirming appts).

This number shows up when Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, MA calls you.  This is legitimate, folks.  Could be a doctors office or an automatic dialer confirming a medical appointment.
