You didn't have to get health insurance. You were a contractor. Also, I worked there for about a year and I made OVER $1000 a WEEK. I left Kirby to get into the medical field. Now I own my own teaching school thanks to Kirby.

Dick Howard the owner, to be polite, is an obnoxious dirtbag.It is ironic that he wants to come to your house and clean your dirt for free  !!!!!!!!!!!! Then he will look you in the eye and tell you that you NEED his $1500 piece of equipment.

I'm stuck at home with a broken foot, so when they call back I'm going to make an appointment, get them to come to my house, get a name, phone number, etc., in writing, then send the packing, call the state DA, consumer affairs division, and local police if I have to. I hate the cracks that are popping up in the do not call list this year.

Called for Ms., who doesn't exist.  Apparently guys don't vacuum?  Took them up on their cleaning.  Did an ok job. Didn't buy, just wanted cleaning.  Did take three hours.  I was planning to be home during this time anyway.  I knew the whole pitch.

Same crap. Called,DRH Enterprises. Hanged up before answering machine got it.

Received call in morning from woman, asked to speak with my wife. I mentioned that we are on Fed and state DNC lists. Got hung up on. I called back to 781-932-8666. Spoke with someone (man) who said he would have my number removed from call list. But a woman (different?) called back on same evening, asking for wife again. Said they were "Kirby" and offered certificate for free cleaning (typical Kirby sales technique). Ended up speaking with another woman who apparently was senior. She promised to have name/number removed from call list. Seems like legitimate business but an annoyance nonetheless.

They call us to, this is because someone you know gave your number to them in order to receive a free carpet cleaning ... not fun. The up side is they can tell you who gave them the number.

you are obviously an idiot. Dave Howard has been in kirby for 22 years! i worked for another kirby office in mass and i did very well. i was a telemarketer and based on appointments i made i had over 100 sales in 1 month. on any given day i could book 35-50 appointments.

First time today, they did not leave a message, the caller ID displayed DHR Enterprises; the phone # was 781-932-7448.

Decided to call them back right away and no one picked up.

hello my name is shaneka i just started working i n the kirby telemarking in the bronx. i just started working last week. and i heard the company will pay u every week and they go by your pay hourly. but since i started i have gotten rude customers and made a few appointments. i work n a small office which only 2 people that works there. i hope this job is not a scam and i havenot got paid yet i guess next thursday i will. because my manager told me i get paid every thursday. i don't know what to do should i leave the job or stick around since its my first time in the business.

DRH Enterprises, so. You probably just heard about this listing on craigslist, and found that this company is offering you 600$ per week sallary, but dont be fooled :P this is actually a huge SCAM.

doesnt DRH Enterprises sound like such an official name? it is actually David Howaed, the owners name initials as the title, he is the one who reaps the benefits from your waste of a drive to wouburn.

When you first arrive, the sun is just starting to come up, You arrive in Cummings park bright and early, you avoid the speed bumps as to not ruin your new car. As you scan the area you locate DRH enterprises in a sketchy one room building that looks like it could pack up and leave on a moments notice.

You notice that the owner does not ask for your social cesurity number or any other tax information, (because they already know that you will not be recieveing any money)

this classic pyramid scheme gets worse, the owner wants you to submit the personal information of your friends and family to keep the cycle going.

THOSE LEADS THAT THEY TOLD YOU THAT THEY PROVIDE ARE FAKE, THEY ARE JUST THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF PAST SALESMEN WHO HAVE QUIT!

this is a perfect example of a pyramid scheme, the owner is baltantly confrontational, the product is too expensive, and Kirby distributors are ultimately the biggest scheme in the world.

i have wasted 2 days of my time with this poorly managed and unethical operation and these negative articles will continue until i see that this company has

1) is properly managed or less devious

2) the company files bankruptcy

as a result of studying this company for an undercover investigation, we have concluded that it is fradulent.

if you came here from craigslist, this is not a valid job, they will never pay you any money

if this is the owner, please make your business model more ethical, or learn about managed risk, because what you are doing is not illigal.

let me first tell you that I do not work for them . I did a few years back  . I sold kirby's and did a great job at it  it paid my way for school . I would have to disagree with all of you . they do cold calls and get referrals. referral comes from people you know ,that saw a kirby .telemarketers can be very bothersome and I don't like them either . kirby has been in business for 90 + years. it is the only way they advertise . instead of spending money on pricey commercials that will fool you into buying a product that does not work   they come into your home and show you a product that does work.   you do not need to beat a salesperson  kirby will sell It's self. an american made products   they will clean a carpet for free and I do a very good job at it . they are selling kirby home cleaning systems which is the best thing you will ever clean your home with. your kirby will last forever , if you are tired of buying plastic vacuum cleaners that don't really work and die every few years . a kirby is an investment ,if you have allergies and have a hard time breathing at night  kirby will suck the living sh#$ out of your mattress . they will show you what comes out of it . let me tell you it is gross . david howard can be crazy .  He ended up fireing me. On one of his bad bipolar days .but he also did a lot for me throughout the years  and I would have to say  he runs an honest business.  please forgive my mistakes  I wrote this all from my phone ...lol I just can't keep going .....I would just say get a free rug shampoo see the kirby not everyone is out there to get you

It's a carpet cleaning company called Kirby, out of Woburn, MA. I was ready to get upset until I learned my wife actually called them first! Now, I'm twice as upset. Anyway, they are a real company, though I cannot speak to whether or not what they offer is a rip-off . It is expensive, so my wife's interest aside, we're out. I get a call from DRH Enterprises on almost a daily basis. I am on the do not call list AND have an unpublished number. I don't know how they got my number, but after reading the other posts, I will report them.

I'm assuming these people got my number from a craigslist ad that I put up...anyone else have an ad up too?

Just letting everyone know who these people are and that anything they say is a lie.

I used to work there, they do get referrals, but they do also make cold calls.  Then they promise young adults they'll make a ton of money and send them to peoples' houses.  Those people have been told they're getting a free cleaning which will take only a few minutes.  Three hours later we asked for $1600 for a vacuum cleaner.  3 months after working there (don't ask why it took so long) I realized I wasn't making any money and wasn't going to get health ins.

I got similiar phone call that I won a free cleaning. Although the phone # is 781-932-4720 now and comes up as DRH Enterprises on caller ID.

They called my home number and I am also on the Federal Do Not Call list. I called them back and they said that someone referred me to them. This is not true. I decided to report them to the Federal Do Not Call claims.

I have received a few calls from this number as well on my cell phone.  I just called them and a woman picked up and said "hello, how can I help you" and I said "you can stop calling my cell phone that's how you can help me" and she said "ok, what is the number".  I told her "if you're smart enough, you'll figure it and, if I get another call, I will report you".  It is so annoying, especially since I have my home AND cell number on the do not call list.

Received the similar call. We are on the DNC list as well.

12:38 PM - A woman called and asked for my wife by name, and told her that she had "won" a cleaning of one rug and a piece of furniture at no cost, that there was no obligation, that they could come out this afternoon to do it.  My wife asked me if it was OK for them to come out; I said NO.  Our telephone number is on the federal Do Not Call list.  781-935-2532 appears to be in Woburn, Mass.
