I've been getting calls too. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize bc I've heard it can sometimes be an overseas scam where you end up with unexplained charges on your phone bill. I guess they can only do it if you answer or try to call back. Not sure if this is the case here but I'm not taking chances. Theyre all blocked

On my iPhone I've been called 7 times in one hour. From the following:

What the ** is going on here? I've never had a number line like this.
They play music when I answer, nothing else.

It's a scam, sheriffs dept. do not call to ask for money, they've even released a statement saying not to donate to phone calls. And honestly, what sheriffs dept would call me at 9pm and on weekends to ask for money?

Same as previous comments. They call and either do not answer or hang up. I have called back and requested they not call me. I have donated before, but do not have the funds for multiple donations. I will definitely not donate at this time. I am also on the do not call list, and fee that this is a definite violation of that promise.

Same thing - keep getting calls. Never leave message. If as stated above it's from the Kansas Sheriff's Association, I too wish they would quit calling. Don't usually have the money and if can't they try to guilt trip you into making a donation. I think they are a wonderful association but they need to be trained that "No means no" and be respective of the same.

Usually Kansas Sheriff's Association calling and wanting donations. I tell them multiple times I do not wish to donate, they keep calling anyways. Half the time when I answer, it just hangs up and there is no one on the other end. And they still try to send me bill even after I say I don't want to donate.

Constantly call wanting donations. Trouble is, half the time it hangs up as soon as I answer. Feel like the KSA is prank calling me. I tell them I do not want to donate, they try to send me bill anyways, and keep calling.

This number calls and when you answer they hang up. I'm not answering any more calls if I don't recognize the number. If they need to get ahold of me then leave a message.

I received a phone call from this number but wasn't home when they called. No message on my answering machine. Don't know the number, or the other number they called from: 785- 571- 0348. Nov. 20 & 26.

I Received a call from this number and it appears to be from Level 3 Communications, LLC-KS according to the number search and their location is on N. Buckeye & 3rd in Abilene, KS. They left no message and seem to have numerous phone numbers to call from. I am on the no call list and wish people would stop pestering me.
