Second day in a row that I have gotten a hang up call from this company, Contact America.  Both times I have called back and left a message.  Never heard of company.

I got a call from this number on 1/16. i did not answer because i don't answer calls from strange numbers. I, too, recently made a Zales purchase...

Any company that you request to stop calling you or put you on a do not call list has 90 days to do so and can therefore keep legally calling you for 3 months after the initial request. Also, if you put your phone number down online (job boards, information searches, etc.) and it creates a request to go out to third-parties (schools, job placement agencies, etc.) it will circumvent the DNC registry therefore nullifying your previous request to not be contacted.

This number has called 3 times in 20 minutes. I just keep letting it go to voicemail, but the ringing is still annoying.

have had several many calls from this number with zero actual communication, most inept telemarketers ever?  or are we all just being pestered for the fun of it?  curious minds want to know how this is really useful to a scam artist.

I know it's a pain, but I hate them so much it's worth it to me.  My home phone service allows 31 numbers to be assigned to a call forwarding list. Once a month I download my received calls to an excel sheet and sort them by number. Then I put the top 31 unwanted callers on my forwarding list and forward them all to the one I perceive as the worst offender.  So most of my repeat telemarketing calls go to my most annoying telemarketer, and if that one calls me, he rings his own phone.  I am on the DNC list, and I do report callers when I have the time. I think this method has reduced the number of calls I get.

Calling every hour, almost exactly an hour apart.  I have them blocked at the phone itself.

Caller ID is Unknown Name.  It's a landline in Hays KS. It?s a Contact America call center in Victoria KS. Its a wholly owned division of AnswerNet with Corporate HQ at 2325 Maryland Rd., Suite 150, Willow Gove PA 19090; 800-411-5777. I received a call as well from the same #.  When the recordig came on I typed in a fake # and was transfered to a third party answering service called answernet.com.  I asked the girl who answered for the address for this business and she gave me 2000 East 13th Street Hays Kansas, but when I looked up business online I got AnswerNet

Willow Grove, PA 19090  She claims that Contact America is real, but she sounded hesitant to answer my questions.  You could tell she was nervous

ya I got same call from Contact America spam call as for so called DO NOT CALL LIST they are BROKE so it doesn't work ppl just need to block these numbers get real.

I've already done this months ago.  I STILL get tons of telemarketer calls.

Called, left no message again.

I answered on the 2nd ring and said, "Hello." but the caller immediately hung up.

the do not call list is a joke, I put my number on day 1 and and these calls increased. just another government program that does nothing but waste our money.

Got the call from the number, asked for my husband. Said he wasn't available but that they could speak with me. They said they needed to speak to someone on the mortgage. I told them I was on the mortgage. He asked for my name and I told him that I wasn't doing business with anyone who didn't know mine and told them to take our name off the list. We haven't ever done business with Zales.

Called and left no messages.

I'm on the "Do Not Call" list, but this is just another one of those that "slipped thru the cracks"........very annoying~!!!!

Then when I don't answer the call for 785-301-2837, the next phone call is from an "UNKNOWN" number almost immediately.  They distrub me throughout my entire work day, and they start calling at 8 a.m. and go right straight through to 10 p.m. at times!

This phone number 785-301-2837 has been calling me 2 to 3 times a day for over 2 months now, non-stop.  I am on the Do Not Call List!  This is aggravating!

Federal law requires that almost anyone who solicits you by phone give you their name and either address or phone number (which they virtually never do.) The law also requires that they call between the hours of 8am and 9pm. And if you ask to be put on their ?do-not-call? list, nobody from that company is allowed to call you for ten years. I have received calls from this number every day at least twice a day, never have they left a message. I'm about ready to call Zales and ream them a new one. This is ridiculous! Especially to think this has been going on for almost 3 years now, if not more!

This number showed up on my caller id today with two calls in the 3-4pm timeframe, and called once yesterday at 7:30pm. I did not answer since I was working.

Calls constantly - maybe 3-4 times every 15 minutes.  I don't answer, but want them stopped this has gone on for days.

been calling every day for the last couple of weeks. since it is my cell phone, I leave it laying on the desk, hit answer and immediately hit mute.  They eventually hang up and eventually will quit calling.
