Another scam telemarketer. located in Kansas.They also have a false front BLOGGING website, hosted on a wordpress server.
Has not been update since June2013. (shell website- with many pages listing same boiler plate content)

Received a call at work today.  They are trying to sell me a compliance manual.  They offer to send for free 30 day trial.  However, if you try to ask for a call back number, there isn't one.

they called two of the several lines I answer at our office.  One hang up when I answered, the other said they were from "metal magazine,  wanting to update their information so they could send us a free magazine".  I asked to have our # removed from call list but don't have ANY hope of that happening.  they call under numerous guises, often.  And....YES, I have ALL numbers at this location on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  We get many, many robo calls every month.  I'm starting to take the time to submit  complaints to Feds but I hate that my employers are paying me to monitor these low life practices.

Keep getting call from this number its Blue Valley Marketing I did as Bob E suggested  and called 785-799-3500 and taled to lady who answered asked why they keep calling she asked what number was calling gave here the 785-348-8000 she asked for my number and said she would remove it from th call list  I will wait and see

BVTM is just another scam, fraud, devil worshipping telemarketer, pitching an ever-changing menu of scams to try to get your personal data and credit card numbers.  Their website is at: < http://bluevalleytelemarketing.wordpress.com/about/ >. They are also using other numbers besides 785-348-8000, such as 785-799-3900.  Some of their telemarketing is oriented towards signing up people for college courses: no legitimate, state chartered educational institution calls every day to attempt to solicit something.  If I want to take college-level, continuing education or certificate courses, Northern Virginia Community College is a short bus ride from my home and is very inexpensive for excellent instruction.  I don't need a robo-caller scam outfit from Kansas to sell me anything.  Everyone of you out there has a community college nearby.  The number for a persistent caller of this nature will be programmed into our call blockers.  It is assumed that all improperly or incompletely identified numbers are from the increasing number of scams, frauds, tie-lines, etc. This is why everyone must contact their elected reps in DC to demand that they significantly strengthen the DNC laws, providing extremely severe dollar and prison sentences for violators.  This is an opportunity for Congress to actually do something useful for the country, not just pass gas and throw spitballs at each other.  Any business must be properly identified on Caller Id, not hide behind Not Available, Private, Unavailable, etc.  It is time to ban any kind of solicitation call, whether charitable, political, survey, opinion poll or whatever.  You can be assured that funds donated over the phone will mostly go into the pockets of the organizers, not to the charity, along with a $10 donation showing up as $100s in charges.  Never give a credit card number or any personal data to anyone over the phone. There must be a new scam and fraud being generated every second out there.  We need call control, not gun control!

I finally answered after they had called many times and never left a message.  It was someone confirming my address for my Architectural Record magazine subscription.  They didn't ask any seedy questions (like asking to get my credit card info or trying to sell me a renewal subscription). It seemed legit, as I do have a subscription with them and the addresses they read off to me were correct.

This was good advice. I called 785-799-3500 and they took down my number and supposedly took it off their call list.  Time will tell, but it is worth trying.

Just received a call... I stated my name and the caller hung up.

Thanks for providing the information as to whom to call.  I did just call and told them we're on the National Do Not Call List and asked to be removed.   She was very courteous, asked from what number the calls were being received, but I'm skeptical because she had to write down my number rather than using a computer to put in the information.   There was no background noise like you'd expect to hear in an office or telemarketing situation, so only time will tell.  I do appreciate your taking the time to provide a number for calling to make the request to stop the calls!!

Just received call from 785-348-8000 asking for someone in a sister office. Third call today from that same number asking for different people. I asked him what company he was calling for and he said Bloomberg. He said he would take us off the list. Hope they do so.

I set up my phone system to forward  calls from this number to the National Do Not Call service 1-888-382-1222 !!!

I receive a phone call daily from this phone number on my cell phone. I have tried calling the number back, get a constant busy signal (probaby because they are on ROBO call. I tried the other numbers listed in previous complaints, no one answers. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, looks like that don't matter. It's about time someone steps in and closing these telemarketers DOWN.....................

Have received two calls now from 785-348-8000. The caller identified himself as "Joe from our local VFW" and he was looking to sell advertising or get donations. After he called last time, I did some research with the local  VFW and they have never heard of him. I asked him to send me a fax with the reason for his solicitation. He did, but the information on it was bogus.

Hang up again. Called back and left vmail requesting removal from caller list (2nd request).

Can this not be taken care by a Better Business Bureau, or some such authority, States Atty, etc??  Get this junk out of people's lives!!

I ABSOLUTELY HATE getting these stupid calls that when you answer they hang up on you.  Don't these people have anything else to do?  Why not get a real job where you can HELP someone instead of being a pain in the *******?!! Do they ever think that some people may be sick or handicapped and this is being VERY RUDE by frustrating them with these senseless calls?  GET A JOB AND LIFE!!

TELEMARKETER CALLS EVERY DAY AND LEAVES NO MESSAGE.

I get dozens of calls every day from these folks asking for various employees. I asked them to stop but that only upped the number of calls.

i am so tired of them, either hanging up when i answer, or them telling me they will remove me from the list.

Called BVTM and Shannon claims she will remove my number - despite ALREADY being on the DNC list.
