I get these calls now and then on my cell phone.  I speak Spanish.  This is a scam.

I called my cell phone company (Verizon) and they said they can't block numbers because cell service is digital instead of hard locked on a land line. They did say that you can call 1-888-382-1222 for the national Do Not Call List Registraion or go to www.donotcall.gov to register your phone number and the FCC supposedly takes action against numbers like this one who call people on the registry.

You can also go to http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints_tcpa.html to file a complaint with the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) about this phone number making unsolicited calls. You may have to register with the Do Not Call Registry first. Hope this helps!

Missed this call yesterday at about 11:30am. Thankfully I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Thanks for the heads-up from you all...I'm going to call Verizon and try and get it blocked, I don't want charges from this junk.

Here in San Diego, California and just received a call from this number on my CELL PHONE at 12:19 p.m. (toddler nap time).  I don't answer calls on my cell I don't know but my husband said to Google the number and here I am.  Thanks for the postings.

I too got a call from this number on my cell phone but did not pick up. It's a Kansas number, and of course I found these comments.  I will not answer numbers that i don't recognize.

Ok I thought this was all suppose to be illegal if you were on the do not call stuff. It is worse than ever. I think these guys should loose all their phones and computers so they can not call and bug anyone any more.

Got a call from this number, googled it, and got this web site... Thanks everyone!!!  Did not answer it..... Won't answer it.... EVER... I speak fluent Spanish... but just cannot be bothered, now that I know it is a bogus number.

Didn't answer, tried to call back w/ *67, got fast busy signal the first few times and then message stating that my call couldn't be completed as dialed.  I then searched it online, and was surprised and grateful for the info provided by this site.  Do not ever answer calls from numbers you don't recognize is about the only advise I can provide.  Unfortunately, the call is untraceable, but if the caller is ever revealed, I suspect that there will be a lot of explaining to do, and possibly some felony/misdimeanor and lawsuit issues to deal w/.

Live in Kerrville and have been plagued by this caller for months now.  Tried to return the call - nothing!  Called my cell phone carrier (Sprint) who was ZERO help!  Find this guy and nuke him!

This number has called me many times before on my CELL PHONE, always speaking Spanish that I can't understand. (I speak rudimentary conversational Spanish.) Today at 1:06 PM they called but didn't leave a message when I didn't answer.

Calls come to both of my mobile phones, even though both are registered at www.donotcall.gov.  Recording of some Meskin Moron trying to carry out a phone scam in Spanish.  I've filed multiple complaints at donotcall.gov but the calls have continued for more than 8 months.

Im also in the Houston area and have recieved two calls like this...same number. I do not speak spanish either. Any clue what this is?? I looked it up and the only info I got was a Kansas area code, number not valid when calling back. You guys are not alone.....

We just got flooded with thousands of call from this number.  All our PBX auto attendent could handle.  Random dialed to many numbers.  Kansas number. Fast busy when we dial that number back from another carrier.

i got a call and it was in spanish also.  they said they have a gift for me and to press one to claim that gift.  i hung up.
