I keep getting calls from 785-836-2263.  No messages -- just call after call.  I've no idea what 'they' want!

It was someone collecting donations for the Ks. Hwy. Patrol...he wouldn't take several polite "no's"
so I had to hang up on him.

Collection company that changes their display number  multiple times to try to catch you in a moment of weakness when you think the caller ID is lying to you.

On do not call list. Since is this not working we do not answer any out of area.

Okay, they're not harvesters.  This is a charity telemarketer.  I didn't listen long enough to determine if it's also a sales pitch like most of the "surveys".

Actuallly, 785 is an area code covering about 40% of Kansas (but less than a third of the population).  This area code includes the state capitol and three of the four largest universities in the state.

Now, having said that, I suspect this number is being used to harvest active telephone numbers.

Multiple calls at the same time each day.  They specifically ask for me.  No answer when returning a call.

Multiple calls, hang ups and no messages left on answering machine.  Getting so tired of it and considering just getting rid of home phone to alleviate these constant calls from Unknowns.

Two days in a row. Redialed to a message of not available.

Just called and there was noone there.  All I heard was a click.
