They called me, no voicemail. I'm in California and the timing is weird because I was just in Miami two months ago. I read about the lawsuits and panicked and called back. You do get a real person. She checked two departments and said that neither my name or number was on file, and so it was a "wrong number." Seems fishy, but we'll see.

I was served with a lawsuit by them last night.  They also sued someone I know in Orlando.  What should we do?

JDB's = junk debt buyers. In other words, a collection agency that had actually purchased the debt and is trying to collect on it.....

I got a call from this number last week and this week... ANNOYING. I don't pick up the phone for numbers that are not familiar to me.

Indeed it is, a sleazeball collection outfit in Florida that represents JDB's. They guy will pretty much read a script if you answer and will not have a clue about your situation or case....
