Shawn-its a scam-pay them nothing!! just tell them you reported them to your local authorities and the FBI. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

Ive had someone call me and say that a court officer will be to my house with court papets and I could be arrested, then wgeb I told her I couldnt pay the loan because im unemployed she asked if I know simeone who is willing to file me on their income tax to pay them five hundred d
ollars and I told her no. is that legal what shes asking me to do?

I told them my father was a lawyer and they hung up lol

i just received a call from them too saying the same. his name was al smith. he called my work and i told him i no longer worked here so hopefully that will help. i looked it up and it said its a mobile number. when i leave work im going to call them and "pretend" im a lawyer and see what they say.

I mean when I called them back today the guy jason was very rude..and then he put his so called attorney on the phone..he said i cannot interupt him..well you know i did..he said my SSN, DOB, phone number, where i work..which is for the commonweath of PA..and he even said that i work for the state..and then he also said my bank account information..which really got me ticked..so i had to close my bank accout with susquhanna bank..but..i did go file a police report and they said there is nothing they can do because they didnt take money out of my account nor did they take anything out in my name..so anyone from pa reading this this is what i can really suggest for anyone anywhere really..go to your state attourny general..and then also you may want to call you state represenative your local one..and try and talk to them to see if we can get these dirt bags off the streets somehow..because if they have all of that for me..you know they have your info too..and dont fall for it because they wouldnt even talk to the pennyslvania state police..they hung up when my officer called them..and also please dont give them any money..at ALL..its just a scam and they could sell our info..as in everyone looking up this number..just take action and we can stop all of this together..and one more thing (again) after i field the police report the guy called back asking for the 5000 odd dollars to pay to "keep me from getting arrested 8am friday morning" well i told him to contact my state police barracks and talk to my cop handling this case because any REAL attourny would want to take care of a fraud case if it is one..and he said no idenity theft is my fault not his..who says that? but whatever it is we all have something in common that our info is out there idk how it got out there but it did and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont give them ANY MONEY..thanks..

I got a call form this number and was informed by Al Smith, "with a very bad accent", that I have a law suit against me for $600. He said if I did call back, he feelt sorry for what would happen to me. When I called back he told me he was with a law firm, he would say what law firm or what company I had the loan with.

He further told me that if I didn' t pay him, he would have the police arrest me from work or home, and I'll end up paying  $8000 in legal fees. He then transfered my call to a lady named Jessica who said I will be locked up for about 6days. The said I need to come up with the money by Friday or else.

it does not matter if your change your number, they will keep calling you. I changed my number they call me. Once your number is entered in the credit bureaus, it's a wrap.

Contact local attorities is the best i can tell ya. I did and they even tried calling them and they wouldnt say nothing haha

Okay..i got this call from this number and they said i need to call back or im in big trouble and if i dont that he wishes me the best of luck? huh!? how did these doushebags get my number anyhow.. and if they start calling my work ill be so pissed..but he said his name was Jason..i think its a total scam..blah..

Called and then sent a text message for me to call them back to recieve  $100.00 WalMart Retail Voucher...

I just received a (2) calls from this number today saying that I needed to have my Attorney call them back or I am in Bigggggg trouble and that if I dont the police will be here tomorrow to pick me up. lol . He said his name was Douglas I think but very badly broken English. Ppl just amuse me... Wow .. Another number also was 786-224-0367... FYI....This is a landline in Florida.. I checked my bank acct and there is $30.00 that was w/d... I called the # that was in my bank transaction and all the woman kept saying was i need your home address please... I told her I wanted my $ back in my acct and she kept saying "We only take $30.00 out one time, then we put in $300.00 for you" I went off on this woman ans she just kept repeating herself. Had to call my bank and now they r looking n2 it.. WTH hell is wrong with these ppl. I am really getting po'd. I did block that # but now they are calling me from a different one... Any suggestions on what I can do or who I can call?

my daughter got the same call at her work today! I called him yelling telling him its a scam etc plus he knows the last 4digits of her bank acct#!!!!!!

Im just wondering how you people know this is a scam? Had a call yesterday and didnt call them back. Instead placed them on my block list. Has anyone had any one show up and trie to arrest them? Is it ok to just ignore them? Im a single mom,and,kinda really scared.

i also recieved the call today recieved 300.00 in my account then it vanished closed my accounts and then he threatened me that the police would be picking me up in the next 30 days for fraud and that i would be paying an 8 thousand dollar fine and allkinds of legal fees.. i caled them back guy got very hostile when i told him that my local police agency would like to talk to him.  everytime i called this giy i heard my voice echoing in the back round and could not understand anything.  pay day loan was for 300 and he wants over 700 he said if i pay a hundred in the morning that they will put a hold on the lawsuit until i can pay the rest.  acted like his lawyers were there telling him what to do

I got a call from a john Smith stating that I would need my attorney tomorrow thar I will be picked up what is all this ugh when o called back and told him that I was gonna press charges for harassment and he told me not to call back there that I would need my attorney tomorrow this bull crap

So for the people with the older post has any law official should up at your home or place of employment to arrest you?  I just got off the phone with them and Mark was very rude and then he ended up hanging up on me.

I received this very same call on Friday, January 27, 2012. They left a message on my work phone and when I called back the conversation went very much the same as all the others. I pretty much felt threathened and affraid. Being an older person, I actually faxed my ID. Now I am really frightened. Though I have loans, they are not in collection status. I guess being caught off guard, and trying to make sense of it all, I fell prey. However, I didn't provide any of my banking information, nor did I send any money. I am curious as to how these people are able to gain enough information about you, to make this seem so real. I have just filed a police report, and will be reporting this to the Fraud Department. I am even more affraid and concerned that they have my address. If anyone calls your job from this number DO NOT, DO NOT, return the call. The first caller on the voicemail identified himself as Al Smith, however, I never spoke with him. It was someone calling himself Mark Abraham (Abram). I was called a fool for asking questions and for documentation regarding this law suit. They avoided doing so. I was to be sending money $926.35 by tomorrow via Western Union. I am grateful to God that I talked with my children and they told me it was probably a scam. I am learned a valuable lesson, not to put my personal information on line, and be careful with FB.

im just got the first call from there people and it scared the hell out of me. Im a single mother of 4 and i dont know what to do about this. I never got a loan or any type of money from them so if there is anyone that can tell me what to do please do so. thanks alot

I too am getting calls from this same number on my cellphone and my job threatening me that there is a lawsuit filed against me they couldn't tell me what the lawsuit was regarding when I asked but I figured it was some kind of spam

I keep getting calls from this # and some 666-???-??? all in reguards to the same thing as the rest of the complaints. They are calling my cell phone so I am just going to block them. I also had some suspicious things show up on my bank account totally $.06 where some United Debt Relief people deposited it and then also removed it in the same day. I closed that bank account and opened a new one. I am just blocking these #'s from calling me. And I thought I was the only one with this Pay Day Loan crap that I never applied for. Glad I am not lol

got the same threatening phone calls about a payday loan that never happened. I filed a complaint with the Federal  Trade Commission. FTC said it sounded like the same "outfit" that they (FTC) has heard about from many others. I was advised by FTC to  file a fraud alert with Equifax.
These people are harrassing me at work.

Really..how do these people get our number..threaten me with a 6,000 dollar lawsuit, for a pay day loan.  They hung up when I start asking them question concerning the so-called loan from American Pay Day Cash.  Like what bank was the check send to, what date was the loan processed on, what was the check number...The guy had the nerve to ask me am I playing games...really...you call me with a bogus lawsuit asking me to send money and statements and expect me not question it.  Also they must not be aware that NC has a law against those type of establishments.  Good Luck on their LAWSUIT....
