I just recived  the same call about 30 min ago called back mail box could take any more calls what they wonted me to do is call this 1-800-829-1831 and gave me this case number z r-ooooo blabla number to give didn't call

they called my son on my phone trying to scare him my son is not no crimal i just wish they would have said where they were it would have been there a** stupid jackassess they call my phone again i'm gonna find out how to sue them

my niece received the same exact kind of call and they had her all scared and worried but I figured it was fake!! Lol

These people called me asking for my sister and my mom asking for me with the same bogus story. I called 800-829-1831 and told them I didn't get the case #, but gave them my name. A lady who claimed to only be the receptionist answered the phone and said her name was Brooklyn. I asked for the company name and address. She gave me this: TNH Financial   19510 Van Buren Blvd   F3-382    Riverside, CA 92508. When I asked why they were calling claiming to have legal docs from the sherriff's office she said she was not in that dept and would have to transfer me. Then she put me on hold and never came back to the phone.

I got a call from Accufile 786 235-9483 and a women asked if anybody would be home to receive the "papers" from the Sheriff's dept for some guy I'd never heard of, told them they had the wrong number & hung up.

They tried to get my Brother in laws contact info. Called them back and they hung up on me. TOTAL SCAM!!!!                     786-235-9483

These people have been going to my family and friends houses(Houses i never lived at nor does my mail go there) looking for me saying they have court papers for me and I called the number i was given for Accufile and it said mailbox full. I am listed so no reason or excuses on not being able to find me.

MAN CALLED SAYING THAT HE HAD SUMMONS OR WARRANT PAPER WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DELIVERED TO BARBARA SOMETHING HE CLEARLY HAD THE WRONG NUMBER AND WHEN TELLING HIM THAT HE HAD THE WRONG NUMBER HE QUICKLY HUNG UP  RECIEVED A CALL WITH A SIMILAR NUMBER EARLIER THAT DAY STATING THAT I NEEDED TO CALL BACK CONCERNING MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT THIS IS A CELL PHONE THAT IS ONLY FOR MY KIDS USE SO NO CREDIT CARDS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH IT CLEARLY A SCAM

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

The DNC does not cover debt collections, instead this falls under the FDCPA laws. However, its pretty clear this is a extortion scam Operation.

The person who called said he was with the sheriff department looking for some personal information for my husband. When my aunt asked for more information, the person refused to answer.

My daughter just rec'd the same call with the person looking for me. It is a scam!!!

I called back blocked after receiving a call from them today and no one had left me a message. I made sure I called back with blocked number, and it said same thing, mailbox full...sounds like a scam to me.

just got a call from this number as well, not 5 minutes ago. Told me to stay put as somebody would be delivering documents I would need to sign for on behalf of "Jeffrey Wilson". Being the sarcastic person I am I said, Oh sure...I'll sit here for days waiting...tell me again your name and the caller seriously said to me, "this is your mom." WEIRD-O!

Received a call from a "Mike Johnson" saying he was looking for my mother, he stated her name and told me that she was being served over being turned in!  They had tried to serve her once already and failed attempt but for me to take a number down when I found a pin!  My husband and brothers all work in law enforcement so I let my husband speak to him!  He asked what, why and where a jurisdiction from Florida had anything to do with Tn!  This is a scam!  You call the number back and you can't even leave a message!  Avoid this number and man at all cost!  When asked

Guessing this has something to do with midland credit mgt since they started calling me yesterday. Since I don't have any outstanding loans, must be another call for" Patricia"
Really sick of these scumbags, only option is to disconnect my house phone. I'm not wasting my time pursuing charges, I have better things to do.

These creepy people have called and lied to me before about credit card issues related to my being a victim of identity theft more than 15 years ago. All involved banks cleared the debt and the perpetrators were even caught and convicted, but these pathetic people continue the pursuit. I have even told them the details of the theft with the case numbers and bank contact numbers. But they just called me "liar" and "loser" and "deadbeat." So now I just block their number. If they find a way through that, I think I will just start wasting their time by saying, "hold on a minute, let me get my account number..." Then I'll put the phone down and head out to the store. If everyone does that, it will ties up their time and stop their profit - which is their only motive.

They called my young daughter looking for my sister.  Saying that they had a warrant for her arrest and they were going to come to the house.  Luckily she did not give them any information because she said it sounded weird.  We called the number back and it was a full mailbox. Interesting!!! Very glad my daughter didn't give them any information.

They call with ID = Open4  Open4.  I don't answer. They don't leave message. Onto blacklist. Case closed. Next?

I received a call from this number this morning saying that someone had filed a complaint, and I was to call the sheriff's department at 800-829-1831 and give a case number. A process server needed to file papers. I told the caller that it sounded like a collection agency and hung up.

Yesterday a relative got a call from these same people.  for me to call.  I called and they said i owed money and that I'm being sued.  I know this was not true.  I told them i have no knowledge.  They asked if I would like to settle and to make payment.  I told them I do not wish to make any decisions and told them "Have a nice day" and hung up. Today they called an uncle and told him to tell me that I was suppose to appear in court today or a bench warrant will be issued.  haha..what a joke.  the number that called them was this number and there is no way I have any court dates out of my area as I do not go anywhere.  I think this is someone who is trying to collect money from innocent people. Someone called my house looking for me ex saying it was the Miami Sheriff's Dept. who had  a warrant for his arrest. It's not true since he has passed away. Number was 786-235-9483.

Demanded I be put on the phone. My mom told her I am driving call and leave a message. The wench called back left an unadiable message. My mom recalled the number she called from and it was disconnected. The number she left went to an open message machine. I laugh it is a scam... Funny thing I havent lived in the same town as my parents for 20 years.
