786-267-9049 - I filed a complaint with Florida Attorney General and this was the very quick response:
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi received the complaint you filed with our office (see below), and she asked that we respond. As you already suspect, this is nothing more than a scam. Call centers located in India, Canada & Pakistan using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) are making these calls, which mean they are calling you using a computer.

Specifically, they are utilizing MagicJack devices to call from their computers. MagicJack has been very cooperative and aggressive in dealing with people who use their devices to perpetuate scams. As soon as we notified them of your complaint this morning, they deactivated that specific device. If you call that number now you will hear the standard MagicJack recorded message. Further, MagicJack captured the IP address from where the last fraudulent call was made. That means that even if the scammers obtain another MagicJack device, they won?t be able to use that specific computer to register the device. This does not mean that you won?t even receive another call such as this one, but it won?t be from that number or that computer.

I hope this information has been of some help to you, and thanks for taking the time to write to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

I almost fell for this cash advance scam, but after reading the comments on this website I didn't do it. I received several calls from different people with heavy accents stating I was approved for a loan and  since my credit score was low I would need to verify that I can pay the loan back by putting $110.00 (10% of loan amount) on a money pak/vanilla card then once I give them the voucher # of the money pak the loan amount would be ideposited to my bank account within 45 minutes. Thankfully I read these comments and did not fall victim to their scam. I have received atleast 5 calls from them while writing this comment and they call from different phone numbers from different cities. I want to thank everyone on this site for the heads up on these snakes and hope my experience can prevent others from getting scammed by them.

You're a piece of s***!!  This is a scam. Get a job and stop stealing money from hard working Americans!  Not only did these foreign a***oles try scamming me with a fake loan, they also called the day before saying I was approved for a government grant.  When I told them to stop calling me they said they wouldn't stop until I paid them $150!  Please everyone who receives a call from these idiots, PLEASE PLEASE report them ASAP!!

Same thing. Some foreign accent person saying I was approved for a loan. I didn't call back. Posted my resume on a job site and believe this is how they got my phone number.

I got 4 messages on my home phone number answering machine from this number today.  Some guy with an accent said I had been approved for a loan and to call back at this number.  Obviously some kind of scam.

I was lending my father money, suddenly then i noticed a prepaid card (which is completely unlike him) then he needed more cash, and I was suspicious. Though I heard him talking about a payday loan, it made sense he needed money. I Helped him and then the SAME scenario seemed to have been playing out for almost a week so far. He felt like he was doing something wrong (he is clunky with computers) and as an engineer he typically comes to me. I luckily was in the next rom. I did some investigating, and after tracing the "line" he was told to call.. I found this.. everything else, including the scheme, company names, complains, reviews aligned and this nailed the coffin in.

When my father (58) got out of denial, I could truly see the shame. Not only because of how hopeful this had made him, but because he had blown his own money, but then had blown his only sons... and I knew it probably didn't help. If Laura, or anyone else with this difficulty in the future, has anything additional to add to this or would like my backing in their demise, please, say so on this thread and contact me for contact info.

He kept saying "i will get you your money back" and i have never seen that shame from him in 30 years. Once I figured it out (quickly) i was ANGRY, but it was not towards him, but towards these low-lives. The money back would be nice, but not from him. From now it is a vigilant effort on my part to fry these scumbags.

Laura, don't pay them a dime. Alert your acct. holders that you may be targeted by frauds. It would be good to alert the Credit reporting agencies as well.
You're being by "worked" by a fraud that may have your personal information. They buy it or hack it. Some maggots on this planet have no wish, or ability, to work an honest job.
Be Safe. Be Aware.

got a call from someone with a foreign accent saying that they had approved my advance for $1000. I just needed to give them my banking information. When I tried to tell them I had not applied for anything, they said they had all my information such as name and social security#.  and that I needed to give them $50 to remove my name and for processing fees.
