This man has called my work and my cell number. I called the sherrifs department and filed a complaint. I am waiting on Wednesday morning to call the attorney General's office. I am tired of this person and if he continues I might have to take a trip to Dade County and trach his Indian behind down.

I work at a staffing office in North Carolina and Sgt. Robert Cocherrel called from the "Florida Restitution office" at 786-360-8299 about an "emergency legal matter" for one of our temporary employees. I agreed to take a message only. The Miami Dade police department's phone number starts with 305. This is a huge scam. Do not return the call and if they call back alert the police department. Debt collectors cannot legally call you at work.

Please be aware they are now calling from 7865871260 and using the name Officer Red Hawkins. He left me a message on my voicemail. I have not returned the call because I know it is a scam and will not even entertain their nonesense.

The same guy with an accent called saying his name is Officer Washburn on a "recorded line" who is looking for a guy that works nights here.  What a bogus call.  Heard a dog in the background.

Claimed he was an officer and asked for the HR department at our company.  I know for a fact he is a debt collector.  They are rude and keep calling regardless of what you tell them.

my office recieved a call from a "Jim Washburn" looking for one of our empoyees. I would not give out any of him personal information but he said he was a restitution officer and it was reguarding an emergancy legal matter. he gave the exact same telephone number. Does anyone on here use Drawing Board for business cards? The gentelman they asked for just started working here about 2 months ago and we ordered him business cards. Could they have hacked a system?

Our office received a call from "Restitution Officer" Jim Washburn from the Dept of Crimes Prevention in the Metro Dade Precint from the number 786-275-5289.  He was discussing payday loans and had detailed information regarding one of our office employees.  When asking for his superior's information, he gave me the name of Deputy John Marshall who can only be reached after 4:00 p.m. at the same telephone number as he was a field investigation officer.  These people emailed a bogus "Settlement Initiation Letter" under the letterhead of America's Credit Unions.  After putting in a call to credit services they verified that this letter was indeed a scam.

Got a call today at 11:40 about a "legal emergency".  He has a thick accent and  won't say what and who I owe money<>  ave the same number  to call back ..   I owe  nothing.   Watch out for this...<><>

"Jim Washburn" called my HR department, at the college where I teach, about an "emergency financial matter". The rep, when relaying the message, told me had a heavy accent that he was trying to hide and did not believe him. The key flaw in his presentation is that he has a work number, but not a home number. He identified himself as a "restitution officer".

Keep getting phone calls from what sounds like the same person who gives various names but usually asking for the same 2-3 staff members here.  Today he called and left  a message:  RICHARD HAMILTON claiming to be Deputy Chief @ Metro Dade police department for a "legal emergency".  He has a thick accent and gets very angry when the person who answers the phone will not tell them who they are or give their name to him, nor will we tell him anything about the person he is calling for.  Usually we just forward his call to our security team.  He keeps calling for different staff members here at the hospital we work at.  He leaves this number as a call back # 786-275-5289

A man named Jim Washburn called from this number 786 275 5289 and said I was left messages about an important legal matter. He stated I needed to listen carefully to what he says or the Authorities would be invoived. I asked what the name of the company he is with he said metro dade crime prevention. I told him I do not know what he is talking about and have no business with any metro dade dept. Why doesn't someone stop these liars?

I work in an hr department and we got a call from Robin Garcia--very heavy accent also.  We told him we do not release information out on current staff or former staff.  He got angry and said it was being taped and he needed my name.  It made him even madder when i refused to give my name to him.  He said the same thing to us.  He stated that he would talk to the local authorities.  I told him to stop calling and that the conversation was over.  I hung up.  He called our switchboard several more times.  I called the attorney generals office and filed a complaint.

The same guy is calling my job for the same reason he has called about a dozen times and he will not stop calling. We had to call the police and report this scam.

Got a call from #786-275-5289 from a so-called "restitution" officer Robin Garcia, he has a very heavy foreign accent; he called my job 4 times since yesterday telling people that this is a Emergent legal matter. I dont believe this one bit! I spoke with him he has all my info, i dont know how?? I work for a big corporate company, he somehow got an HR administrator who got in touch with me, this is very embarrassing. I told this Idiot not to ever call my job again, he could not give me any contact info on what company he was from. He told me I better get an attorney because I only had 48 hours to pay $200 or I better get an attorney. Who can you report these people to?
