called me also.  Moses, global credit etc.,  Had a heavy accent and tried to hassle me to get into my bank account.  caught the smell of a scam and hung up.  tried to collect a debt that was paid many years ago.
do not know to handle this.  where to report.  how to stop it from happening to other people.

Is this a "boiler room" operation in Canada or India?  Why would a credit card company based in U.S. have a collection agency in a foreign country try to collect a debt for them?  Preem Moses called me too.  The first time he called he said Global Credit and Collection.  The second time he called he said Global Collection and Credit.  Can I call Consumer Protection in Toronto and report this even though I Iive in Wisconsin?

This man *Moses* spoke very broken English, had my birth date, last 4 digits of my social, said they were a Debt Collector yet could not tell me for what company they were collecting for, when i told him he had the wrong person then, he yelled at me that he did not have wrong person, I told him to not CALL again.

"this is a message for ??Milarcian??...if this is not you, please hang up"...etc...etc...etc...Global Credit and Collections "...please call 877-234-1838"

You need to pick up the phone NOW... Very threatening tone. Followed by Beethoven's "Fur Elise".

It didn't sound like a recording though it was.

The call once a while a voice says "push any bottom to speak directly"
