Received call from this number.  Left voicemail, but sounded like it was a pocket dial from a cell phone or something. 40 second voicemail but nothing other than random scratching and what sounded like someone speaking spanish in the background

i pick up the phone and there were silence in the line so i hanged up

I´ve received 2 phone calls in 2 days. I never answer unknown #´s

They speak spanish and i dont speak spanish. i dont know who this is.

My Droid always blocks this number as spam.

They called me twice two ring and that was it .......

just rec'd a call from this number - no v.mail left - i'm on a do not call list too and this is one of many times they have called my cell....grrrrr

They have called me mmany times on my cell. Recorded message in Spanish and the line disconnects after the recording is done. Very annoying

Got a call from 786-287-7762 just now. Lots of silence, a recorded spanish woman and then click.

I have received many calls from this number, i have no idea who this is.  They do not leave a message

I have received various call from this same number, as a matter of fact my partner riding with me received the same call, I decided to answer out of curiosity and at first a recording said i had won a price so i dialed 1 as they asked and a man answered saying: awards department! in spanish so i question what He had said and repeated "awards department",I hung up and decided to forget about it,but they keep coming so what i did was to call them back from a land line and a spanish speaking man answered,I hung up and he call back right away asking who had called him!!
Is sad! first We have nigerians and people from all over the world trying to send You millions of dollars and now We have A..H...s trying to outsmart and steal from their own people in the USA.

I just got a call this morning from this number. Since I did not recognize it, I sent it to voicemail. It is in Spanish and said to dial "1" to be connected.

Same number calling my cell too twice in half hour same name Luiz Sinchez that is who it belongs too

This series of reports popped up the moment I typed the number into Google.  Today (19-Nov-2010 14:36 EST US) it called my cell phone, and the ringing stopped by the time I got to my phone to answer.  When I called back it rang, but there was no answer, and I was searching on line to find out who it might have been.  The caller left no voice-mail.

Seeing now that this is some unlawful cold-prospect call (for I am on the do-not-call registry), I was about to suggest that people do exactly whan bmxvolunteer suggested.  As soon as I get a wrong-number or nuisance call, it gets saved, at once, as "WN" (for wrong number), and is given a SILENT ring-tone so that I am not even disturbed when a call comes in from it. (If my phone allowed me to specify, on a per-number basis, "and don't beep me to tell me I missed his call"--I'd do that too!  I very much like bmxvolunteer's version of this--using "Don't Answer!" as a name:  I may adopt that for such nuisance calls!

Please stop calling me. I'm on the no call list.the next they call I'll report that number.

Have you all posted something on craigslist with your number?  I just started to receive calls from this number as well.  Shortly after I posted on craigslist.

This is a cloning number.  If you answer the call, your phone's info gets cloned.  This call is being made by a computer.  The reason they want you to press the number is to send a gps marker back.  They'll put your phones info into strorage, and later will be used as a router for untraceable calls.  This is also a way to download tracking software into your phone.  There is no way of knowing for sure if you have it, but with a bug implanted into your phone anyone can listen to you, even if your phone is off, and your phone will apear off.  Some software platforms allow a user to even turn on the video camera.  The only way to have private converations would be to remove the battery, or purchase a new phone.  Some new software is being transfered when you set up a new phne and download your old content onto the new phone.  So if you suspect you have malicious software on your cell, buy a new phone and hand input your call list.  Then only answer calls from recognized numbers, and call back numbers that leave messages.  No message, no caller id, dont ever call it back.

Telemarketers can get around Federal laws concerning caller-id by routing their calls through a service that shows up in your caller id as originating from a cell phone. Federal law says that telemarketers have to show their info in caller id.

telemarketing companies can put any number in their dialers to show up on caller ID - same with the name...   very sophisticated stuff people...   just ignore them, there is not much we can do...   until they make spam blocking software like we have for emails...   dk

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THIS SAME NUMBER WHEN I ANSWER IT, IT SAYS WE HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT CALL FOR YOU PRESS ONE. YOU TRY TO CALL IT BACK AND IT SAYS YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE THIS CALL RIGHT NOW. I AM SO TIRED I WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING WE COULD DO.

Never leaves a voicemail and disconnected when called back.

It comes up on my caller id as Luis Sinchez, its weird I just started getting calls from this number and I have yet to asnwer it like many others. I hate calls like this, I feel like it is a waste of my time and person space. Wish there was something I could do about it.

Same thing, Just dont answer a number  you dont recognize.  99% of the time it wont be legit.  If it happens to be the 1% that is valid, they will leave you a message.

A call came in from this number (786-287-7762) and when I answered the 'automated system' said that they have an emergency call for me and press one to hear the message... " I hanged up after that.
The message was in spanish!!

Received a call from this number in Spanish, translated they say:

"We have an important message for you, press 1 to connect".

When I pressed "1" a lady picked up and asked for my name, I told her "You called me", she insisted so I gave her a random name.   Then she informed me that I had won 100 dollars in gas, and a free trip to Disney.

I told her that today I was feeling generous, and that she could keep my 100 dollars and she could use the trip for herself.   She told me "I appreciate it, but I cant take this offer" so I told her "well, I am hereby authorizing you to give this to your Mom".

She got angry and hung up.
