Received a call from this number.  Did not answer after seeing the name & number on my caller ID.  After reading other comments on other sites, it sure sounds like a scam.  I reported this number to the Do NOT Call regisstry.  Hopefully it will do some good.  Maybe every one else should report it, too.

Received call Sunday afternoon around 2.  No one speaks.  No text, just a number on caller ID.

yet another call from a number that "does not exist".

I have been in the same situation as OS in the past. You guys are jerks for ruining a poor shmuck name when all he did was be the victim of a scam. There is a new iPhone app that allows you to use Antibes number. If he was the real scam artist, would he use his own number?

I think they have stopped calling, but the man started to yell at my brother. So be careful in case they start scamming again! Our house, my friend's house, and grandma's house got called and we're all from PA, so i'm guessing they just call PA numbers

We recieved this call alittle after 5pm here...  Hubby would not answer, did not know the number....  He wanted to know who it was so, I typed the number in the computer...  Seems like this guy/gal gets around....

Received call from an "Eric Corrales" stating he could lower my CC rate to 6%, when I told him my rate was lower than that he got very agitated and told me he would cancel my CC. After a few other words were exchanged another person (they sound Asian told the caller to hang up the f#$%@&* phone and we were then disconnected.

I am a do not call list, so how are these people getting my phone number??

Call sounds like it's coming from India, my guess is the number is spoofed.  Like others, they're offering to lower my cc interest rate to 6.9%... connected to an "agent" and immediately asked him for their mailing address.  He insulted me, I asked to talk with a supervisor.  Obviously a big scam, bunch of crooks.  Said he was with "Master Card Services."  I even got a scammy address from them... 235 Calypso Cay Way  Orlando, FL  25230.

the call came and the caller ID said Eric Corrales and he did not leave the message

also got call from 1-786-333-0000  Caller ID Said Unknown Name.   Did not answer.  Looked it up and found this site.  Can't the phone company go after these jerks.  They are the ones that gave them the number and get paid by.

The phone rang this morning and the caller ID had 786-333-0000 and 'Eric Corrales' on the caller ID. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. I have been getting tons of phishing phone calls lately, so if I don't recognize the number, I don't pick up, I check it on the computer. I don't know how I managed to get on all these scammers lists, or if they are just more prevalent now, but I am getting sick of it!

I live in PA and received a call from this number 04/29/09 at 8:50PM EST. Call starts out with they are calling to reduce your interest rate on your creidt card to as low as 6%.  Press option 9 to speak with a representative.  Well I pressed option 9 since I had just read in the Business Section of our local paper that credit card companies were increasing interest rates.  A Hispanic female answered and said "Thank you for calling Card Services" There was lots of background noise like she was working in a call center.  When I inquired as to whom I was speaking the she was muting the phone off and on.  Proceeded to let her know that I was in no mood for her not to be answering me and muting her phone on/off so asked for her supervisor and the call was disconnected.  I googled the number which comes up on my caller id and it's a cell phone located in Miami, FL.  Last night I dialed the number back and there is a recorded message from the apparent owner of the number stating that his caller id/phone number had been "hijacked", not to leave him a nasty message, that he has notified his local phone company and police and suggested anyone getting calls like this do the same.  Said he believes it's a credit card scam and not to give out personal information.  I left him a message thanking him for all this information and that I too would be calling my local phone carrier and the Police Dept.  I have notified my local Police Department and they will investigate this.  Just another bunch of fraudulent groups in Miami running a scam.  Hope no one is naieve enough to give out personal information.  I am a former fraud investigator so I have NO tolerance for this!!

Got the same call here in PA.  I called MC and Visa immediately and they knew nothing about it but it was reported to them.  The guy didn't know the name of the bank that sponsored my credit card but guessed at "Capital One" or "Bank of America" so I knew it was a ploy.  I think Mr. Corrales is committing a federal crime (inpersonating a bank)...could be in for big trouble.

Caller ID said "Eric Corrales" was the caller.  I never answer calls like this one, but they left a half-baked recorded message, that started somewhere in the middle, to the effect that it was my "last chance" to lower the interest, on something not specified in that portion of the message, to 6%.

I have reported this number several times and still they call. The number 786-333-0000 atated on mt caller I.D. as Erick Corrales. Spoke to this nur nut fot about 4 minuets and then asked how he liked me wasting his time he said it was costing me for the call as I pressed. Thank goodness I did not have to press 1 for English! I have Vonage and do not have to pay for the call, think that was B.S. anyway.......... I now wonder why I waste more reporting this.

i tried calling back and i got an answering machine with a man saying someone stole his phone number, to steal credit card information, and not to leave him nasty messages. tha he can not change his number at this time, yeah yeah yeah come one be more creative

Showed up on caller I.d. as Eric Corrales, Left no message-is a credit card scam out of Flordia.....  Don't give them any information

Called, when  my husband answered she said it was a low sounding recording, he couldn't hear what it was saying so he hung up. This is a first from this number..

this person--Eric Corralles--has been calling but not leaving any message. The caller ID picks up his name and number. I haven't tried calling abck but rather conducted a Google search which lead me to here.

Got a call from this number this evening.  Long day today, brain kinda burnt, so I pressed 9, went on to give some information to the guy on the phone, however when he wanted to confirm my identity with the first 12 digits of my credit card, the red flag went up.  I questioned him, said, hey, if you can do it by the last four of my social, ok, if not, no go..he laughed, said their system only confirms accounts based on the credit card number, and then proceeded to hang up.  I reported to FTC, do not call, and the local police, canceled the credit card, just in case, and emailed everyone I know to warn them.

I also received this suspicious call. The number on my caller ID was 786-333-0000. Name was Sardina Osvaldo. It was an automated call that said we could lower your interest rate on your credit card press 9 to contiunue to speak to a representative. Out of curiosity I pressed 9 and got a woman on the line. She asked me my name and I was hesitant and said to her you called me don't you know what my name is? She then said, don't you know your own name. I said yes but do you know my name and she quickly hung up!

I got the same call twice within two weeks. The first time the dude hung up after I pressed 9 and he asked if I was interested in lowering my interest rate and I said, "I guess."

The second time it was "James McClaister". The dude sounded very Indian to me with a very Irish name. He asked how much I owed on my card and I told him $250,000 with a 23.99% interest rate. He asked me why such a high rate and I told him because I was stupid.

Then I yell at myself and got back on the phone and told him that was my son being silly on the phone and asked him who he was and who he was looking for and he hung up. Sounded like "Mr. McClaister" had a bunch of people working with him, because he could hardly hear me when I was talking to him. Also, I was mocking his accent.

I called the number back and it was some dude that stated someone stole his number and a lot of the outgoing calls were going to the state that I live and that he has a family and to please do not leave a nasty message.

I hope they call back. I have fun jerking these people around. Jerks.
