We just had a call with the same situation.  CALL YOUR STATE ATTORNEY!  They are asking for complaints on this company.  My mother was called a Queen B**** on the phone.  The first name they gave us was John Doe and the number was 555-555-5555 finally we got the number of 888-863-8769. We were finally were told it was Chad Johnson at Chad Johnson Enterprises.  Am I that Stupid?  NO!  We are filling our complaint now... I suggest you all do the same!

Perhaps the caller ID is being faked. It can be done. I got a call from 111-222-3334 once.

Good; that's the spirit. Maybe Metro PCS, if it receives enough complaints, will decide that the troubles caused by its customer are not worth the trouble. If anyone here is a patron of that service, so much the better. Keep at them

Got ANOTHER call from 1-786-333-8888 today (Tuesday) 09.Dec.08 @ 2:29 PM.
I did not pickup b/c I've had previous annoying calls from this number.

I'm retired, also have a voip account and I'm about to start a "see who blinks first" game with this caller - and their service provider. Every annoying call will be met by my annoying call to them.

I received the same "You've won a vacation to..etc..blah, blah". I checked the number on 'reverse 411' and learned that it came from a cell phone in Florida. The service provider is Metro PCS Wireless, 9730 Abrams Rd. Un #105, Dallas, TX (214) 341-9180. Toll Free 1-888-863-8769. That toll free number is not reachable from my home in Canada but it certainly is from all points in the U.S. Perhaps annoyed people ought to deluge the provider with complaints. Let them know what their service is being abused. I'm on a Do Not Call list in Canada and it's now an actual offence for marketers to violate it but I don't think it applies to calls I receive from the U.S.

Call the head office of Metro PCS, often, and let them know you're bothered by unwanted calls from their customer. Glad to help.

I just got a call and I'm on a do not call list so I pressed 9  as intstructed to claim my prize. I said i was on the dnc list and she said go f*** yourself and hung up!!

I got this call in August - I got so fed up I I started pressing a bunch of button for 20 seconds...finally the guy says, "do that as much as you want, we'll just keep calling you."  It shows how unprofessional they are.  I am hoping for the day when there's legislation that allows us to file trespassing or harassment complaints to prevent complete strangers from constantly phoning your private residence.  People can be prevented from banging on your door and harassing you if they don't stop when requested; it's called trespassing.

I got a call - and missed Thought it was my daughter who is travelling, so redialed. Girl swore at me - who the f---are you you keep calling me. etc. I said I never caled you and hung up.

Got a call from this number 9:51 AM.on Dec. 5/08: "Congratulations!  You have won a cruise to the Caribbeans......"  I just listened quietly and they hung up.  I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST.
