Do not appreciate coward phone calls. If you are representing someone atleast have the courtesy
to let someone who pays their phone bill refuse your request.
I am on the do-not-call list and have been for years.
I choose to donate to family who needs help and those that are mentally challenged.
I am begining to wonder that those who protect society do not know how to raise money, by bazars or
a race or a challenge between the fire department.
Good luck , but I  do not appreciate you using your authority figure to raise money from people who
try to do things legally and by the book, but , again, this is a new country. where rules to not apply
to everyone......

If this is a legitamate organization leave a message.  I do not appreciate people who call and do not leave a message.  If this is a fundrasing attempt I am sorry I do not have any money at this time I can part with.  Please stop calling me and good luck to you.

Hung up just as I said hello. I come home to a msg of a dial tone. No doubt its the same number. What part of DO NOT CALL that they don't understand? Working for the police and yet they can break the law?

I get at least one call daily from this number. I usually don't answer, and they leave no message. Today I answered, and they hung up. WTH?
I, too am on the Do Not Call registry, and have been since 2006. How can I get this nonsense to stop?

they keep calling me, but, don't and won't identify which police dept they're calling for. they ask for my husband, i tell them he won't take the call and they keep harassing us with phone calls. today i told them the same thing, he said would i give him the courtesy of listening for a few minutes, then tried to harass me into giving a donation of as little as $5. i will not give out my credit card number to people like this. wish they would stop.

This is a for-profit telemarketing firm "Corporations for Character" based in Murray UT, soliciting for scam charities, in this case "Florida State Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Foundation". Check out Corporations for Character website. I filed a BBB complaint against them and asked to remove me from all their charity call lists. I encourage everyone to do the same; complaints also have the benefit of affecting the company's BBB rating.

I called the number back, and it's the Fraternal Order of Police asking for donations.

I have told this Company on numerous occassions to remove my name/number from there lists.  I do not do Telephone Solicitations.  They have not removed me and I am tired of these calls. I want this stopped immediately and have not found any relief to date.

Received call from this # yesterday.  FL FOP FNDT.  no listing in Charity Navigator or Charity Watch.  I suspect it is a scam.

I wouldn't support the FOP ever.  I support my local police department but not the FOP as they are a union organization!!

I contacted the State Police and asked them to stop calling me.  I was told that the calling organization is not affiliated with any police department.  They are basically a telemarketing company that has permission from the state legislature to use the Fraternal Order of Police as part of their sales pitch.

I don?t know how much, if any of the money actually goes to help law enforcement officers, but I never answer anymore.  

I asked them to take my name off their list and to stop calling many times, but they still keep calling.  

I?m guessing that the person who called is more interested in getting to the next call to make a commission than they are in removing my name from their list. It may also get them into trouble if they remove too many names, as their boss will tell them it?s their fault and they?re doing something wrong.

FL FOP FNDN are phone TERRORIST.Thes asshats won't stop calling but I have a nice phone that has call block on it now, it will block 30 numbers. I have already used 11 of the 30 this week, FL FOP FNDN has used up 4 of these with the phone numbers of (786-358-5581)(786-358-5573)(786-358-5533)(786-358-5543), All show as FL FOP FNDN on caller ID. If you have call block add these numbers to your blocked callers list. :)

I get daily calls from the BOZOs, Fortunately I have phones that will display names and numbers when I see that display I never answer their calls.  To bad I am certain there are legitimate agencies out there they just are not one.

Florida has a large number of fake "FOP" charities that call all over the state looking for money. You are an idiot if you donate to these scams. Most of your money will never benefit the family of a fallen cop. They've been on the news many times as scam alerts...they ARE NOT the real FOP! They are a bogus charity who just so happens to have FOP in their name.

It's more of a "for profit" charity...you profit them....say the collect $10,000, they will "donate" maybe $100 of it to some joke of a scholarship for the kid of a cop who died.

I called the number back and a recording came on about Fraternal Order of Police. The # was out of Miami.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there?s information on floridastatefop.org, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Florida police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

My answering machine answers with:
"Telephone solicitors will receive no response from this number.
 All others please leave a message".

The solicitors just keep calling and hang up when they get the anwering machine.

How can we stop these creeps???

make them stop calling. they keep calling even after the answering machine picked up. They never leave message just keep calling.
