Voicemail message said: "Your number was recently registered with an online retailer such as Walmart, Lowes or Sears. You may press 3 at anytime to opt out. Recently, you or a family member who registered you at one of these websites for the home security give away a chance to receive a free in home security system. Congratulations! Your name was selected to receive a free in-home security system plus free installation. Press 1 now to schedule your installation. Again, press the number 1 key now. If you would like to decline this offer, press 3."

It is WCA Clearing House. When you call back it gives you the option to opt out. However I still continue to get the same call from several different numbers and I opt out every time and still continue to get the calls. How do I put these calls to a halt.

my number is on the do not call list, yet these people keep calling me. time to report them and sue them!!!

I keep getting calls from this number saying that I have won something.  I keep hanging up.  If I had really won a genuine prize they would have given up by now and gone with the runner up.  There is no way this is truthful and it is just another ploy to get in my wallet.

I'm not buying it and I would like a valid way to end the calls.  Evidently, for them, opting out only verifies that the phone number is valid.  WCA is a menace!

I believe all these calls I've been receiving came from my stupidity. I fell for the Facebook Subway Giftcard BS, and since then I've had a gazillion "fabulous offers" by email and phone.

Got a call from this number also. This call says that we won a $50 gift card and a $20 gas card. All we need to do is give them information to a credit card so they can charge for shipping and handling. Do not fall for this!!

i just got a call from this number on my cell phone and i didn't answer. it rolled over to voicemail and left a 21-second message. it must be one of those recordings that automatically starts as soon as the phone is answered, because the voicemail caught a recording that was obviously in progress. it was a woman's voice telling me to "give my family peace of mind" by doing something about home security and she said to press 1 for more information, then the voicemail cut out. i didn't get a name of a company or anything.

Same deal. Call came In did not know any one by that number did not answer the phone and the caller never left a voicemail and I did not call the number back.

Got a call from this number this morning. Once again didn't answer and no message

Same deal, got a call from this number, but I didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer. Left no message.

I called the number back, and an automated response told me to push 1 to be removed from their calling list, and it prompted me to enter my number. I did so, and it said I had been removed from the WCA Clearing House Calling List. No idea who these people are, but hopefully that takes care of it.

For everyone getting these calls, I suggest calling back and removing yourself from their call list.

Call is from Florida-leaves no message. Usually in my office when call comes thru and cannot answer the phone. These caller(s)are a real nusance and cost minutes on my cell phone.

Has called three times - never leaves a message. Why bother to call if you don't intend to leave a message.
