I have been receiving these calls up to 8 times a day.  As late as 9:15 pm.  This needs to stop.

I agree... my card payment with Sears/BankAmericard was due 3 days ago and the calls started just yesterday. They really don't intend to talk to us... just harass us. My mortgage company does the same thing... it's due between the first and the 15th, but if I don't pay them by the third, I start getting these "robo calls. Block them if you can or send them a Cease and Desist Order and send a copy to your lawyer.

Two calls today, 9:22 AM then again at 9:56 AM, 34 minutes later!  I don't know where these people are getting their calling list.  Suspect it's by illegitimate means since two people at my address have first names beginning with the same letter, so there was one call for each.  From prior complaints here, they know your name.  Calls for legitimate things like airline flight time changes come within half an hour of each other for these two residents (the airline autodialer calls alphabetically), so I'm assuming this was the case with this sham charity.  Has anyone receiving these calls donated to religious organizations?  That's on the top of my list of where I suspect they're getting our numbers from, as my number has been the same for over 30 years with no decedents.  More recently they are using number 786-358-6985.

I get calls from it too.  *60 on Comcast phones lets you reject the last number that called you.  We'll see if it works.

They called here at 6:30 on a Tuesday. We didn't answer and it went to voicemail with no message recieved. There's no way this thing is legit.

Same as so many others...  CDN Thanks You... This is ridiculous. I answer and no ones there. Main problem is I'm extremely disabled and many times to get to the phone takes extreme effort... I keep a phone for 911 when I need it, not for the average of 20 unkown calls a day right into the late hours of night... There should be no exemption from telemarketer calls , charitable or political. It's all B.S. What the hell are we paying the FCC for. It's about time they step in and start regulating this crap...

I actually was able to get through to them at 786-358-6985.  Told them to put me on their do-not-call list.  We'll see if they comply.

I didn't get to the phone in time to answer it before it hung up with no voicemail.

My caller ID says CDN Thanks You.  They call several times a day and no one speaks as others have posted.  I tried to call them and just get put on hold forever.  It's pissing me off!

Same thing...they call at all hours- day and night with that annoying "CDN thanks you" and hangs up.  The x6985 does not accept calls. I called the other line, that people listed, and was very rude to them demanding that they remove me from their list.  We shall see.

Called me today.  Didn't answer.  Answer Machine picked up.  No one said anything or left any message.  Can't stand using subject pronouns in my sentences.  Too lazy and illiterate.  Caller ID displayed 'HELP KIDS 4XMAS.'  

After reading the comments on this and other related phone numbers, I'm beginning to think that some of y'all are right - maybe this is a ploy to pretend to be a children's charity by a devious collection agency that has purchased 'fake' debt records and expects to fool people into paying them money.

The best advice is to get CallerID service from your telephone provider and a telephone answering machine and just don't answer calls if you don't know who they are.  If they are important calls, they will leave a message for you.  There's no need to fret just because the phone is ringing.

Called me today... A Sunday... Mother's Day.. Don't these blood suckers take any time off.. My ID says CDN Thanks you. I told them that I was not home and out of town until next week. Told them that I was my sister and that I was staying here with my mother while she was gone.. $10 says they will call back tomorrow anyway.

Glad I'm not the only one. I have asked twice now for some human being to answer when I say hello. Never one word. Why call if you are not going to talk? Makes no sense! Reporting them to the FCC.

We've been getting about 4 calls a day from this number! It's making me crazy. When we pick up the phone there is no one there and THEY HANG UP ON US! I'm going to call the number and if I talk to a person, tell them to remove us from their call list.

It is pure misery getting these annoying calls. After taking care of my 90 yr. old mother with Alzheimers all day I finally get a moment of silence or a few minutes of resting my eyes and this # calls. GIVE ME A BREAK!!! SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!!! I AM GOING TO TRY!!!!

Received 3 today, ans at least two yesterday from this number which calls, and never has anyone there.  I am on the DNC list, and have reported calls to Verizon.  Please just make them stop!

Since they claim to be a non-profit organization they are exempt from the do not call list. You can ask to be removed but that's about all.

how do you get these calls to stop? we are on the do not call list but keep coming and no one is on the other end.

Several calls, did not answer, no messages left.  Caller ID said  "CDN Thanks You".  Does no good to be on the National Do Not Call list, or to request to be removed from these callers' lists.

Receiving calls from this number and ID on phone says CDN Thanks You, so possibly it is connected with Childrens Dream Network.  No one there when I answer. Called the number and it doesn't go through. Am blocking now through my phone company.

We got a call from this number on Easter Sunday and when you answer the phone there's no one there and hangs up after about 20 seconds.  Any way to put a stop to their autodialer?

I've been getting calls from this "CDN Thanks you" thing with similar results.  I pick up and they hang up.  I called back and spoke with a Becky Prader who was trying to give me the sales pitch, but I did not allow a word edgewise.  I told her to place me on the do not call list and I opt out and remove me from all lists you hold or are third party to, then said good-bye and hung up.  We will see if this works.

How obscene to abuse  the word 'children' to scam people out of money, time for the government to make ALL unsolicited calls illegal especially for so called 'non-profits' that pay such a small portion of what they solicit to the actual people who need it. where's Barack Obama when you need him?

I got a call from "Children" this morning and answered it. A very polite lady asked for someone I did not know and said she would remove my number from their calling list. Hope she does! But if she doesn't, the phone book tells you hhow to block a number. Lok in the front of the book for instructions.
