Called 4/19 9 a.m. MDT I ignored and googled, glad I did.

Just called a company in Miami, Fl about a Rx drug called Yaz and if you want to go to court/sue them

I got a call from that same unknown number I declined the call then asked my mom about it she said she didn't know anything about that number she said to Google the number

My best friend kept talking about this number calling her cell. She would answer and no one would speak.I'm blocking it for her... I'm glad I googled it. Nice informative responses.

I got a call from them at 11:36 a.m. on 4/18/03. I live in South Carolina. I didn't answer, they left no message.

About the MONEYPAK thing- you don't have to back up and restore either. I have Process Explorer installed- reboot (ctrl-alt-del twice for WIN, I don't know for MAC) and start P E, then look for "run dll as exe" and kill the process, then run virus scan (I use free ZoneAlarm) which will find and remove it. As for the scam number, I never answer calls from numbers I don't know either.

I didn't answer.code is from Florida. Somebody reported a call  from the number regarding "have you had a stroke, etc."

The morons called on the office number at #786-3586962. Then went to our emergency cell number and called from #720-328-2264. Idiots just don't seem to get a grip.  Federal and State laws should be changed to make CALLER ID Cloaking and fictitious number re-routing illegal and punishable with a nice long prison-term on some nuclear toxic island on the Pacific Atoll far-far-away.

Just got the call on my cell.  Didn't answer and no message left.  Figured it was bogus.

Keep getting these unwanted calls.  If I don't know the number I don't pick up.  They keep trying.

The problem with Robo dialers is that: 1) If you answer and do press #9, you've answered the phone and they treat that as a "Good Number" for future calls. Especially if it is for SPAMMING or surveys. 2) They are not a respector of individual privacy. They merely randonly dial numbers based upon an algorythmn. and 3) They never seem to stop throughout the day.

However, as a business here is what we have done. 1) Our COMCAST voice allows us to add the numbers to call screening on-line. Now when these calls come in, they only ring twice and COMCAST advises them that their call is being blocked. 2) We place a messeage on our Voice Mail that merely states "This Office does not accept calls wherein the Call Blocking or Caller ID Blocking features have been activated. and 3) We place the numbers into our Cell Phones as SPAM "Do Not Answer."  Overall, the number of calls have dropped dramatically.

Even with customers/clients who contact our office they are advised that we will not accept their calls if we do not know who is calling. Plain and simple, we are reducing the number of calls. With SMS and Text Messaging Technology, we are able to communicate effectively outside the traditional phone call process. Also, the benefit to this process is that if they leave a message, we are able (via our COMCAST voice) to convert the messages to text!! Recently had a bogus solicitor call the office stating that they represent some fictitious attorney. We have the phone records of when they called, how long they talked, and the actual mesage all in one place!!! That will fix their wagons!!! We checked the state Bar Association records and the attorney does not exist as a licensed attorney.

Often times, Bioler Rooms use the name of an unlicensed attorney, or a former attorney, etc to make the call sound important and yield a response from you. We can now document all that goes on in a given day and (if necessary) shove it up their rear-ends!!! Needless to say we informed the fictitious called and advised them that no matter how they cloaked the numbers we were able to record and trace voice, text and such. Haven't heard from the idiots since.

It does help to advise them that you are personal friends with a former District Attorney (who is now the Attorney General) and you are prepared to take legal action against them. What some people will do and the lengths they will go to defraud honest, law abiding citizens, especially senior citizens all for a buck, a six pack of soda, or a longer lunch break if they meet their monthly quotas.
