I am so sick of having to screen all incoming calls.  My wife and I receive phone calls @ a 20 to 1 ratio...unwanted/wanted calls.  Why are we paying for a landline if it's just going to be a conduit for people of ill repute to generate income ?  You would think the phone companies would get involved.  These calls are a primary reason so many of us are dropping our land lines.

We have an unlisted number and are on the DNC registry.

this # keeps calling but will not leave a message.

Called my cellphone -- which is *on* DNC list!!
So this is illegal two ways.

I do not answer my cell phone if I do not know the number, so I did not. They left no message

Got a call (no message) from this number at 11:43 est today 2/2/12

Got a call on my cell from this #. Did not leave any message.

Got a call from this number but didn't recognize it.  I've been getting calls from different numbers with strange area codes & numbers I don't know, so I don't answer.  They never leave a message though.
