i just rec'd a call from this number, it stated "private"? I DID NOT PICK UP BECAUSE IT SAID "PRIVATE". I DONT PICK UP CALLS THAT SAYS "PRIVATE". MY WOULD ANYONE THAT I WOULD KNOW CALL ME WITH "PRIVATE" UNLESS THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE OR INTO NO GOOD?

Got a call from this number - didn't recognize "Rights Legal WCA" or the AC so didn't answer. That was at 4:23 on 12/8/11. No further calls. The "do not call list" is a joke on the American people. I don't use Craigs List either. I am also annoyed by the number of solicitor calls received each day.

Was on my caller ID but left no message. One year this number came over my caller ID about 15 times a day for more than 2 months. Finally I got the address, wrote them about having an attorney and they never called again. So annoying scums. Trying to get money from people.

Called this number back and there was an automated message "You have been selected to receive $2500.00 in travel dollars to Cancun, Mexico.  You can press 3 to be removed from future calls."  I pressed 3 and guess what??? Sorry you didn't enter valid command.  SCAM!!!!!!!

They say we, somehow, subscribed to their service back in May.  Anywho, you can't just press the buttons, you must listen to the spiel and then select 5 to unsubscribe, listen to the spiel again to get to "2" in order to confirm the desire to unsubscribe.  About 2 minutes of irritation

Got a call from this number at 12:53pm 11/08/11 with caller ID: RIGHTS LEGL WCA. They didn't leave a message so I figured it is just another company that my phone network sold my number to. A lot of out-of-state calls seem to be more frequent since I signed up with MetroPCS. Thank God for caller ID and for all of us who knew not to pick up these nonsense calls. If it is important, they will elave you a message to let you know what the call is about. Until then, I advise you not to answer and just ignore them.

I get messages from this phone number, with the only identification being a Florida number. Of course, lets face it, there could be one or more links to another actual location.  I attempted to return the call, which congratulated me because I had supposedly signed up for this service in July (It's now December . Who knows? Some practical joker could have entered my number into some bogus service - but if I catch him he's going to get nailed for it legally! This is immature harrassment and he knows I will follow through just like I did with the restraining order!)  When I reply called to number I got a recorded message to dial "5" to be put on their Do Not Call List; however 5 directed me to another recording indicating that 5 was not an acceptible code, and it looped around to the congratulatory message again.  So I dialed the number back 15 more times, and repeatedly hit my # key, plus any comibination of numbers in rapid succession. At about try 12, I began getting immediate messages that my cell number had been added to their do not call list, and was deleted from their database. Just a thought - We will see if they actually are dumb enough to call again, in which case I am going to have my phone company trace the number and press charges. These jokers are interfering with my work calendar and I'm not going to allow it any longer!

Got a call from this number on my cell about one hour ago.  I was in a meeting so I let it go to voice.  caller left no message.  So annoying!  How many times must we sign onto the "DO NOT CALL" list?

call the number back, if someone asnwers, tell them to take you off the list.  You can also tell them that if they don't, you will report them.  Or if you get a recording, they might have an option for removing your ph# from their list.  This is what I do/did.

Also got a call from this number w/no msg left. It is NOT a result of Craigslist because I have never used it. Did not call the number back. Probably a robo call since the call was to a phone whose number I never publish and have only given to immediate family.

This is so annoying.  I also know that these calls are being generated from information gotten from CRAIGSLIST!  DO NOT GIVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER OUT!  EVEN to what seem to be legitimate job posts!  80% of the Craigslist job postings are not legitimate!  TRUST ME HERE.  Instead of putting your information out there...make a 2nd copy of your resume...take your phone numbers OFF of it, as well as your current exact address...you can leave the city and state...then, in your cover letter let the recipient know that you will gladly submit the full resume once you are certain you are dealing with a REAL company!  You will find, as I have, that you will get back FORM emails which will not address ANYTHING you said in your cover letter because NO ONE is reading them.  If you get a response that says.."You are the only person we are interested in...please follow this link to fill out this information and we will call you to set up an interview THIS WEEK...DO NOT DO IT! They are phishing for more information and you will never hear from them again after doing that.  Just use your common sense.  And make a note of numbers like this and do not answer them.  In many cases the call is just confirming that the number is a working number!   Craigslist needs to step up and take responsibility for the CLOWNS who are posting to their site.
