Just got a call from these scammers. 786-454-2246. Glad I googled the number first. The guy was trying to tell me I was named as "A person of interest" in an undisclosed legal action. I called the number back and it went through to what the woman who answered said was an "Answering service". I told her I had just gotten a call from this number asking me to call back. She then proceeded to tell me who the call was for (My Name) based on the phone number that I called back with. How could an answering service be able to look up my name based on a phone number? When I told her about googling the number and all the comments about it being a scam she flew off the handle and started cursing me. Sorry but people who are at all reputable don't start cursing others when presented with questions about who they are.

This is a scam. Don't fall for it. I've lived at the same address for 6 years and all my documents and taxes are filed from this address. If someone wanted to let me know about some "Legal action" I would get a letter. Not some random phone call from an undisclosed, unprofessional  company that looks to be based in a different country.

I hope that these people are reading these comments. Because I want to let them know that they are the garbage at the bottom of a deep pile of refuse and I, For one, Will not be falling for their tripe. I will also be reporting this to whomsoever I can including the BBB and any scam reporting centers I can find. I encourage all of you who get a call from these pigs to do the same.

If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

I received a call from 305-222-7135. Says I had an audit against my social. Then gives e 786-454-2246 ext 122 as a call back number and request either I or my attorney call immediately. He also said it was a documented and recorded call. If I a being audited by a government agency, they will contact me themselves! They don't beat around the bush! Besides I have no reasons to be audited. Funny thing is, just 5 minutes before, they called MY number and left the same exact message for a "Randy" character! Go figure...scammers will do just about anything to screw ppl over...where's the government in all this illegal crap?!?! So over this...

igot a call from 619-863-4328 saying i would get a loan for $5,000 if i give them $105 up front. The loan would be a 5 year loan. His naME IS cHARLES SPEAKS INDIAN FROM INDIA

I just got a call from 011 (217)960-2710 telling me that they are from Churchill&Churchill legal services, but they couldn't tell me when or where I "borrowed" the money.
are they for real because I am kind of freaking out?

I do not know who is calling me, but they are very rude. One time it was Ryan Smith, it looks like that was used before with another person. Now it is Chris Morrison, I wonder if that is Jim Morrison's long lost brother.

someone named jennifer called wanting me to settle for a payday loan I did not pay back....a loan that I never got in the first place.  even when you know it's a bogus call it still rattles you.  they are calling my work now....it's just wrong!

I get these calls non stop at work, one day they called 43 times. I had to change my cell phone number at least 4 times as well. They got me once believing I owe them money which I was scared and sent to them at the time, luckily it wasn't that much. I am happy they don't have my current cell phone number or my home phone. They are scammers so don't believe a thing they tell you, it is scary at first but it's a bunch of bs. I wish there was a way to catch them but there all over seas/

This ryan wood calls, i play his game and barely could understand him. so when i get tired of it. i question him...ur name really is this, you were born where, you live where? That isn't my business he said, well you calling my place of business isn't either especially something false. Legit business setup? GVMT where are you, you have the number, track it, monitor it bc if the right person buys the hook, that money is illegally helping some group....get with it!

I got a restricted call was told to call "john smith" back, indian accent is so string I couldn't tell what the company name was..they told me to call 786-454-2246...I have had these calls before, if I really owe money a more profesional place would call and say this is attempt to collect a debt..its a scam I am sure!!

I hate these F-c-ing indian speaking people who call me from all over the country LA .FLA . among other places They all have the same speach they read from I almost know it word for word. Lets ship them all back or learn to speak perfect english so we can understand what the f-ck you are sayin clearly.

These people have called my work number several times now. The person name is David Smith and he was going to get his supervisor for me to speak with but the supervisor was busy. He said that they would give me a call back at work and I told him they better never called me at work again. When I asked where he was cliing from he said Gas Energy you belong to the right I said NO now stop calling me at work.

To whom it may concern if this is the person that called me saying her name is janat i had this number investigated so please don't call my phone number  no damn more go scam somebody else

You can't do anything to stop them, they are in India and out of the US Jurisdiction.  Hang up on them, ignore them, or have some fun with them.  Don't get angry, they love that.  Laugh at them.


I ask for their full name (they will give you an American name).  Tell them they need to work on the American Accent if they want to be successful in scamming people.

Tell them this is your work number and they need to call your cell phone.  Or, just give them your "attorney's" number.  In either case, tell them the number is 202-224-3000.  This will connect them directly to the FBI.

They will stop for a while.  When they start calling again in a few months, try blowing whistles or air horns into the phone.  they are wearing a head set so it will definitely make them go away.

We are getting calls on a regular basis and this is a business. They are now threatening our receptionist and using some very vile language. One had the nerve to tell me that he was from the Investigation Bureau of the State of Tennessee. I do have a name that he left and I feel compelled to notify the TBI and report him for impersonating a TBI Agent.  At this time, I am telling any and all of our Operators to just hang up.  These scam artists are using multiple phone #'s to try and fool people, but when I do a reverse look-up, they are all coming from the same location.

Called saying there was a legal matter, but could not give any information on voicemail.  Left this number saying my lawyer or myself needed to get ahold of him. Said his name is Ryan smith

saying there is a pressing matter, need to call back called with a blocked number, but gave this number to return call.  says they  will get ahold of employer payroll

threated me with jail and a 1500 dollar court cost

I got a call requesting callback to this number.  Said he was David Johnson from Legal Accounts Association.  Threatened me with jail if I didnt pay.  If you lookup Legal Accounts Association on BBB website, it looks like this is a common scam.

I am being threatened by someone at this number indicating he is in the financial crimes division.

Payday loan scam, calls you and threatens you with jail time if you don;t pay a loan you don't even have, bunch of stupid indians, please call this number multiple times a day and tie it up. Call them and tell them if they don;t pay off their pay day loan you'll send a monket over for them to have sex with.

Indian calling people about payday loans they don't have threatening them with jail etc if they don;t pay.
