Keep getting calls from "Richard Hamilton" saying I have a lawsuit but he is calling from a Florida number I live in WV. He has called multiple times so I just keep callin him back and hanging up!! Told him to google the number he was calling me from and see how many people have reported his dumb a**. He also is calling from a cell phone with terrible reception. What federal agent bill collector whatever the hell he is calls from a cell.. At least get a landline and not make it as sketchy as it is if ur trying to rob pple.. Such an idiot.. Keep reporting these phOne calls so these dummies will nOt be able to scam anymore pple and if

Person ur bank information on the phone u deserve to get robbed. It is damn near 2013 people!!! Pple will do anything to get someone money. They also had my social and it was wrong but he said it didn't matter  ok well I'm pretty sure in official court documents it does.. This is all coming from me being dumb and trying to apply for a cash advance loan online... Started the process than realized it was prob a scam after I had put in some of my information out.. Not my bank info tho. Work for a bank too long have seem it a million times.... Avoid these phone calls   Hope Richard Hamilton sees this and gets a job like the rest of this country if he wants money. He said his name was richard thompson and his email is usgovtsupport@hotmail.com . if you are from the federal government I dont think you would have a hotmail address. he is a scam and stupid indian f***. anyone who has you pay them using a green dot money card is a scam. If you sound like your from inda and u have an average american name your a scam. Im surprised he didnt call himself john smith. I hope he gets caught. the federal govt does not work for collection agencies.

I recieved a call from  man whose name or he proclaimed his name to be Richard Thomas. I argued with him about the same thing you all are complaining about and he told me was I hard of hearing and he called me an a***ole and a stupid mother f****r. Wtf? They are not a real company so please ignore these calls because he made me get out of my character and curse badly at his a** (excuse my french). I am highly upset and this is not the end of this. EVERYONE PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!

This number has been calling me NONSTOP and I called the company that i DO owe the loan to, and they informed me of this scam. Of course, i wasn't buying it anyway, considering I don't have any outstanding balances. Just so happen, this guy called me WHILE i was on the internet and I googled the number as he was talking, and started reading these comments to him. Told him to not call me anymore.I Have the Mr. Number app on my phone and I have blocked them all. I used to work in collections a year ago, I know how to handle legal cases with outstanding balances. I REASSURE u, u will not be sent DIRECTLY to jail for not paying a bill. It WILL over draw your acct and u could possibly get suied for it, THEN after nonpayments of a court order will possibly come jail time. TOTAL SCAM ppl...please don't let this happen to you. We work hard enough as is, and they are scamming ppl out of money. JUST sad.

omg this person called my job and my cell phone telling me if i dont pay the money in 1hr im going to be arrested. his name was richard Haliton. He sound like he's from inda so why so he have such American name 'Richard" right there its a red flag please dont give this man any money he's a scam. If he do have personal information regarding u guys make a police report.

I had a guy call me threatening me saying he was from the federal government and that i needed to wire him 216.00 today or he would file a warrant on me.  He is very rude and tries to be intimidating and when i asked what company he was from he wouldnt tell me and he said i owed money to some parent company called cash advance usa.  He said his name was Richard Hamilton.  This is a total scam.  If I owed any money the federal government wouldnt be asking me to wire money to them.  Do not fall for this nonsense.

I got a call today while I was at work that the gentalman that was on the phone said that I owe money to 2 different companies and I had my wife call that number she gave him a fake name and he told her yes ma'am how can I help you, She then asked to please provide the companies that names and number's that she owes and all the guy said was would you want to take care of this matter now or go to court so my wife said why can't you give me the companies names and numbers and he kept repeating his self and when my wife told him that she was going to turn the number that he was calling from into the police for scam he said he didn't care and then my wife said she pulled the number up on reversed lookup phone numbers and that number he called from was listed as scammer he gave her attitude and hung up with phone on her. The guy didn't stay what company he was from when asked and didn't even give his name to her.

I had the same situation as Mary but the man named Richard Hamilton, from India it sounds, told me that an arrest warrant was going to be issued if I didn't pay 200+ dollars, after reading the above, I called him back and told him to do what he needed to do and he threatened me again and told me that I would be arrested and hung up on me!  Total scam because I don't owe any oustanding loans.  He also claimed he was from the Sheriff's office.

Called said his name was Richard and that I owe money to 10 different companies.  After I told him I don't owe anyone monies I asked for his name and number, he told me his name was Daniel. I told him why at first you told me your name was Richard now it's Daniel, I hung up.
