Hi Julie Scott! Everyone knows you're one of the group of scammers!  FYI - you can't be arrested for failure to pay a payday loan (it's not a criminal offense... Civil possibly, but not criminal)

What these phone tricksters are doing on the other hand is illegal and criminal!

Officer "Jerry" called my wife while ago, but we could never get anything out of him except the Criminal (something unintelligble) dept...threatening to have her arrested for "whatever". She put it on speaker and I started talking to him and he repeated whom he was again for me. I explained that it appeared he was imporsonating a peace officer and could not threaten arrest, even if he was attempting to collect a debt, he could not threaten arrest. He got louder and so did I. I told him I was going to report him to the Attorney General in Texas and informed him I was a retired police officerand he said for her to "be prepared to be arrested" and hung up. I noted on her I-Phone the call came from Florida and called him back and let a v/m stating I was contacting the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement to file a complaint and oh by the way, that lovely v/m you left before she called you back where you id'd yourself as Officer "Jerry" and threatened to arrest her, would come in handy.

Got call from some Indian/Pakistani claiming to be Brian.  Threatening me with be arrested.  Found it kind of odd since I have never heard of the company he was talking about.  Tried to call the number back but got a static line.  Must be some type of scam.

Same info here...these nuts have been calling us for MONTHS.  I even had to close our bank account because they had all the numbers.  We haven't taken out any cash advances or payday loans.  When I called back I spoke to a "Andy Brown" with a very heavy accent as well....he told me to be prepared to be arrested so I guess maybe I need to pack a suitcase or something.  At one point they even put this through a collection agency and when they called me and I explained this to the woman, she told me she was going to bounce the requests back to the originator as fraudulent.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  Today someone called me from this number at my place of employment.  He gave his name as Russell Crancho, and said he is from Federal Criminal Investigation and that I did not repay a payday loan from a company called Advanced USA.  I've never done business with this company and never heard of it.  He said that they had emailed me and provided me with documentation, but the email address he gave me is not my email address.  He refused to email or fax me the paperwork that I supposedly signed, but he says he will not send me anything else until I pay.  He wouldn't let me speak, and I finally just hung up on him.

UNKNOWN caller

I get three calls a day from this number. Heavy middle eastern accent. Claims he us from crime and law prevention. He repeats the last four numbers of my social security and then repeated my address and said prepare to get arrested. This is the same company that got my info from a pay day Ioan site. Every few months they surface and then they attach to a new number, new name, new fake company. Do not call them back. Report to FTC.
