This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Yesterday I received 8 threatening messages about owing money etc, foreign accents, etc.  requesting I or my attorney call back.
Please look into this as it appears to be some sort of scam

Received an email from these scam artist  CAsH Net Usa - not even a legit title.   They will repeatedly call from any area code they can hitch up to.    Just report them to your Attorney Generals Office.   When you tell them, they all of a sudden disappear!!!   I just wish we could understand them when they call.   The broken english is horrendous!

he calls multiple times..the last time though I answered..." the deed is done...there is blood everywhere"..i haven't heard back from him in a month..

I have had this number call several times, I have never picked up, but the voicemails are hysterical. He called himself John Griffin, usually says that I have several loan complaints against me, he used to say I had some vague crime, gives me a time limit warning and says that if I do not call back he will contact my employee to charge me legal fees. I hope nobody falls for this, I have been getting calls on and off from this number for almost a year.

Wow I have had the same number calling me and telling me I owe money and have a warrant. They have threatened me and said I will be picked up at my work.. So on and so on! I went to my local police and was told its a scam. They even called while I was at the police station and they argued with the officer!! I'm so glad there is this site with others like me .. Thank you for sharing at least I see I'm not the only one. I have lost sleep over this..

I got phone call from 786-484-1824, he said that I have to go to California court, I owe $10 000, otherwisw police comes and will arrest me.

I received a phone call today from "Inspector" Victor Griffin from Federal Government of Crime & Prevention. Telling me I was being charged w/ a serious crime!!! I had get to a hold of him A.S.A.P. He was giving me warning & hoped nothing bad happened! Had a heavy Indian accent ended the call saying "God Bless".  Called back told him this call was being recorded & hung up on me!!!!!

I called him and informed him that I have a habbit of wring with Tukwila pd, seattle pd and Bellevue PD

I have received the same call numerous times with the last one being today 10/3/11 at 11:50.. Same name Rick Griffith Federal Crime Prevention telling me I have a very serious crimal matter that he needs to discuss with me... I called the number back but blocked my number by dialing *67 first and before I would let him talk I advised him that our telephone conversation was being recorded before I know it he told me "I" had the wrong number and hung up on me... Lol imagine that...

I gave him a ton of carp and his so called supervisor name Steve hung up on me

I have the same problem with a guy name Victor Griffin from Crime and Prevention. What can be done to take care of the situation/

they called me same guy named victor......I gave him a ton of crap and he got very mad....no such thing.......called 25-30 times from my work and they shut their phones off he did answer saying it was victor though

this company calls repeatedly.  even when you change your number.  they have different numbers that they call from all come back registered to or sold from Cellco 100 S Biscayne Boulevard
Miami, FL33131-201.  A verizon wireless store.  This is BS.  there is no such department in the federal government.  They steal your identity and ruin your credit.

A person with a heavy indian accent introducing himself as a Federal Crime Prevention employee was trying to get personal information from me.  Called himself  Mr. Griffith.

I've received at least a couple of voice messages from this number.  The messages are for a Mario that evidentally used to have my current cell number.  The messages sound very similar to the ones that have been reported on this site by others.  The guy has a heavy accent and is saying that Mario could be facing criminal charges, etc., etc.  At the end of the message he says "God Bless."  I called the number back and reached a guy who sounded like the guy who left the messages.  I told him to stop calling my number and that I've had this number for over a year.  He tried to engage me in conversation asking for my name, of course I didn't give it to him.  I hope something is done about this nuisance caller.

I got a call from these people telling me they were from Cash Advance Experts telling me that I owed money to a Cash Net USA.  I am glad I looked this number up.  I was going to send these people money.

What did the Florida Attorney General's Office say??

I received a phone call from this company that called themselves Cash Advance Experts.  Saying I owed them money from a cash advancement.  This is a scam...they would not answer any questions that I asked them about this.  Middle Eastern accent and very rude.  Said they were going to take me to court. I hung up and called the Florida Attorney General's Office.

these people are running a scam that you owe a debt in a foreign country and they are coming to arrest you blah blah blah always a person of middle eastern decent and in a very noisy call center
