called telling me i won 250,00 in american money

Got a call from this number....officer white....said i must call back or my legal representative...said do not disregard this call....stated i was in serious trouble...anyone know who this is?

They called me, saying he was from the FBI, and when I wouldn't give him any info he told me, I was gonna be behind bars in less than two hours.

These guys are from Gujarat in India - they are a crime ring, I suggest everyone to contact the Gujarat Chief ministers office in Ahmadabad India, He can take action and make these guys stop calling us.

They have called me over 800 times till now using different VOIP based numbers

I got a call for my husband on my cell phone. He said his name was Officer John Smith and thathe was from the office of Financial Crime of the FBI and my husband was in serious legal problem. The guy had a Nigerian accent or something like that. He wouldn't give me any more information than that. I kept asking him what it was concerning and he got upset and told me he had already told me too much and needed to talk with my husband immediately or he would be in huge trouble.

I got a call from this number at my work.  The secretary told him that she didn't have an extension for that person. He insisted that he speak to me and my secretary hung up on him.  When see explored the number it came up with this site.

I just got a call at our school from this number. The caller ID said it was a wireless caller and the number was 786-484-2270. He had a strong Middle Eastern/Indian Accent and there was tons of background noise which sounded like people on the phone.  He asked for a staff member. I use to work HR and have been trained to tell callers that I have no extension for anybody by that name to avoid giving out personal info. He didn't understand what I meant and put his hand over the receiver and mumbled something to somebody. He came back on and said that he didn't want an extension, he wanted to talk to the staff number. He said he was from the FBI department which sounded odd to me because the FBI is an entire bureau, not a specific department. I asked him if he knew that it was a felony to impersonate a federal agent, he started mumbling again and I hung up on him.

He called back and kept asking for her, despite my telling him that she didn't work here. Finally he said he wanted to leave her a message. I asked him for a call back number and he gave me 55-55-55-5555. Just like that. He didn't even know how to give an American number the right way.(And the number he gave for the callback is the number to our school.) Then he said his office number was the 786-634-9487. Then I asked him for his field office and badge number. He said his field office was Oakland (which is weird because his cell # is out of Miami) and mumbled some badge number that I couldn't quite make out.

And then I found this site. Get a real job!!

John Smith left a vm on my cell and I couldn't understand the vm.  Well but I knew it was a load of crap. Keep calling me jack***, see what happens.

Officer John Smith with a thick accent. Supposedly from the financial crime unit; I didn't listen to the entire message as it was obviously a scam of some sort.

I just had the same thing happen a half hour ago. But I was asking for him to repeat himself and he got mad and said the police will be here in 2 hours. The first time they called they left a voice message saying there name was paul. The person that called again sounded exactly like paul but said his name was alan taylor and in mid sentence said something in a foreign language. He said he was FBI and wanted to know where I was.

he said he was Alan Taylor at the FBI crime Dept. he also said he was coming to arrest me on a legal matter. I asked for a badge number and he got really mad at me. it also sounds like a Nigerian accent.

Got call for my wife...said he was officer XXXX with an extremly urgent legal matter to discuss with her ASAP. He would not elaborate when I asked what it was in reference to...I am her husband.and stated so. He just said to have her call back...FYI...he has a deep Nigerian type voice and even if he were a U.S. cop...it would seem that they would have a more professional sounding person to do the calling on such extremly important matters...

Same calls none stop vm his name paul he.s a police have me or my  attorney call him back if not i wish you luck b.s get a job and stop dialing my number and learn how to speak english

Same guy with a very thick Indian or Pakistani accent has been leaving me voice mail messages about once every four months for the last three years or so (using different numbers).

Says his name is Mr. Steve Thompson. Reminds me of an Indian support center guy for Dell who wanted to convince me that he was "Max from Nebraska." I asked him how the Cornhuskers were going to do this year, and he admitted he didn't know what I was talking about. Actually was very helpful after we stopped that charade.

But anyhow, it's the same thing as others report. The guy says he's from a Financial Crimes Division, and if you don't call soon, "all I can do is wish you good luck with what will unfold on you." Pretty funny, but annoying.

Don't call back.

They have my 9* ssn and keep callin and left me a voice mail sayin if i don't call back good luck.

I have also been receiving calls from the same number. DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO!!!! not even your name!!!! I then kept blocking my number and then calling them back and annoying them! and they were getting made and said they would stop

i just got a phone call.the caller said it was a legal matter but would not say what for.when i questioned him he hung up on me.what can i do?

They left a vm stating that he was an officer and that there was something he had to discuss and it couldn't be left on a vm. Ending it with if I didn't call him back then he could only wish me good luck". HAHA. Thick accent.
When i called back to tell him to stop calling as they were no longer at this number, the background noise was a dead give away. DO NOT RESPOND. DO NOT GIVE INFORMATION TO THEM.

These people are harrassing me at work for over a year now.  They know my info, but want me to verify.

Got a message from this number. Didn't bother to call back. The message said my credit cards and social security number has been released and if I dont call back they cant help me. He ended the message with "All I can say is good luck to you if you don't call me back". Very thick MIddle Eastern accent. Couldn't understand most of the message.

Indian/Middle Eastern accent. Claiming you owe money and has lawsuit against you. Will try to get you to confirm you bank account number and social security number.  Will probably know the last 4 digits of our ssn. Do not give any info!   PHONE SCAM FROM UK/INDIA. WILL CALL YOU WORKPLACE, CELL, HOME, FRIENDS. THEY LOOK UP YOUR INFO ONLINE. WILL SAY YOU OWE ONLINE LOAN.


SEND THEM TO SEVEN ELEVEN TO GET A REAL JOB!  .....OR MAYBE CARVELS. DO GIVE ANY INFO OR MONEY. THEY WILL HARRASS YOU FOR WEEKS STATING THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE SUED AND ARRESTED.  THIS USUALLY HAPPENS IF YOU RECENTLY APPLIED FOR PAYDAY ONLINE LOAN.
